Definitely one of my favorite recent poems. The first two stanzas are photographs and the third is a memory I will never forget.

I can’t decide. I took the one on the bottom with a lower brightness setting.
The one on top was at like 25%. That lower edit though.
No trees tonight. Moon is in a weird spot. Digging the edit.
Clouds are cool.
Not as cool as the Moon though.
Ha, look at those leaves at the top. Oops. #masterframeshot @chameleonlotus @aliveinsideink @housewiththereddoor the edit reminds me of your poetry. It’s scary. 💚
Zoom at max is not the best for this s7 edge. I’m also not even halfway competent, but one day when I actually have clearer pictures and better edits, I can see where I came from.
Moon is still badass though.
I’m not sure why I always make my edits darker, but here’s the sun. Moon will be up later tonight.
I hope.
My best stuff comes when I’m the only motherfucker awake for miles. That’s where my heart is. Jumping fences and crossing some desolate highway. I have to go there to find it and when I open the gate or cross the bridge, I come back with words. I feel things again. I can smoke a cigarette to my favorite song, think of you and smile. When I wake up it’s gone again, but I know where it goes every single time.

Don’t love because you expect to be loved back. Love because your hands, your heart, your soul wouldn’t know what to do otherwise.
