Verona has lost her way because we have lost our way. We have the most beautiful and talented people in the world. We have a worthy Prince, whose values are a shining light to all of Europe. We are so blessed and yet violence still troubles our streets and robs us of our citizens. We point fingers here and there at certain families or certain people. But these things are not new. Conflict has always existed.
My worthy opponent would like to tell you that the fault lies with insufficient funding of our Watchmen and prosecutors. That the solution is increased jail times and harsher penalties. I say this is not the way. Taxation and filling our jails will not deal with the fundamental cause of pain to our citizens.
It is time to step back and evaluate what has really changed. We have stopped listening to our natural selves, stopped taking care of one another, and Dominants have stopped being Dominants. Submissives treat their submission as though it were a game, to the detriment of their health and well-being. It is time to restore the natural order. Let us no longer act as though we are ashamed of who we truly are. We are human beings. Some of us need to submit. Some of us need to Dominate. This keeps all of society in good health. It keeps our children safe and happy with loving parents to raise them, inside of a claim as it ought to be. It keeps our streets safe when everyone knows and understands where we belong.
It is time to put Family First, Family Last and Family Always.
