Right now I'm visiting Tennessee from my home state of California. Huge culture shock! Also it's so cold here.

Wow! I haven’t been to either of those states, but I have been to all states on the East Coast (plus vermont and pennsylvania)

RIGHT? The nervous system in particular is so fascinating and complex. I do wish it (at least my own body) were a bit more straightforward sometimes, though, for obvious reasons.

Weather’s fine, power’s out. Dorm is being evacuated, so I’m staying with a friend tonight. I haven’t had consistent Internet on my phone. I’m fine, it’s just inconvenient.
