you're likely right about Edea's orphanage. I'm guessing that Aerith's part will take place on a continent like this. So far, Laguna and Zell are the only FFVIII characters on board right now (besides Squall) and the next chapter may focus on Seifer. Seems villains will join the party too since Seymour did, I'm sure Sephiroth will as well. The last chapter was focused on Vincent, based on the Shinra mansion with FFVII music. Could be Seifer redemption, Aerith could have some part of that.

I play it mostly for Aerith but they almost have the whole FVII party now. Yes, squall was an extra event. I'm excited about her release either way :)

So then, I wonder why that location looks like Edea’s Orphanage? have any ideas what place it is?

I personally prefer the Japanese as it's sometimes English translation is watered down. But the game is written in Japanese, of course it's valid.

I wanna make a note about the Squall inclusion. It seems so far, any character that is acquired by the extra events are not included in story because they can be missed. In that case, I hope that Aerith is a main story character and not an event. That way she can continue to interact with (cloud) and others more. I also hope the scenery here is the next world.

I haven’t played in a while, so is Squall an extra event character or not? Either way, I still hope that Aerith gets more story, too.
