Accessing Automobiles
Here are a few cheap and easy tools that can be used to get into pretty much any locked vehicle. These are the tricks and tips used by mechanics and locksmiths everywhere to gain access to a car. Items you will need. There is no need for fancy lock-out kits or broken windows: 1: A blood preasure cuff or a smiliarly durable inflateable that starts out relativly flat. 2: Various lengths and thickness of wire. You will want one very large and thick piece of wirE, and also a few other pieces of wire of varrying lenth. 3: A wooden or plastic wedge. Now for getting into the vehicle. 1: Take your wood or plastic wedge. You are going to place this in the small gap between the driver's side door and the middle collumn. Some cars have the window flush with the body of the car with no metal surrounding the glass. If this is the case, place the wedge between the glas and the body and be sure to be careful not to put too much preasure on it. Otherwise you could end up breaking the window, defeating the whole purpose of getting into the car. 2: Now, with the wedge placed, pull out towards you to create a gap between the door and the body of the car. Into this gap, place the blood preasure cuff. Make sure that it passes through the weather stripping and that you can see the other end peeking out through the window. You want to place the cuff an inch or so down from where the door meets the roof of the car. This will allow optimal maneuverablility of your tools. 3: Remove the wedge and inflate the cuff. You want to inflate the cuff to the point where you can insert a finger into the gap to ensure that you will have room enough to maneuver your tools. 4: Look inside the car and try to locate all possible places you may be able to activate the locks. On many new model cars, the lock activating mechanism is in the middle of the dashboard as a big button (Ford model cars) or may be resessed into the door panels. Do not worry. I have yet to encounter a car that can not be unlocked with a little patients and cursing. 5: Grab your large wire. This wire should be thick enough to resist bending when you try to bend it and should be long enough to reach into the car and touch the middle of the center console or a little farther. It should be long and have a small 90 degree bend at one end for working buttons and hooking on to door handles. You can also use this tool to start or shut off a car that has the keys in the ignition if you are dextrous enough. This large bar is your first route of attack. 90% of cars on the road will be openable with this tool alone. 6: Try to activate everything lock related on the inside of the vehicle. Push the lock buttons. 99% of the time, this will have you in the car right then. Hood the inside door handle and pull it out. On most Ford cars, this will cause the door to pop wide open. Be careful if this works. The preasure put on the door by the cuff will slam it outwords, most of the time right at your tender bits. 7: If that has failed to work, move on to your various smaller bits of wire. Take one and bend one end of it into a half loop. You can use this wire to grab onto door lock pull bars that are often on the side panels. You know the ones, you pull them up with your hand and it unlocks that door. Use this this wire half loop to hook around that bar. Once hooked on, twist the wire slightly to put preasure on the bar and then pull up. The lock should pop wide open. 8: Now, if you have tried all of these suggestions and the door is still not opening, there may be one more avenue of attack to try. This is a variation of the old fassioned slim jim method. Inside the door panel are various wires and rods that control the locking system. Each car is different, but most times you can place one of your wires bent into a square hook shape at one end to hook onto those wires and bars and pop the locks. This is by far the most difficult method to use, mainly because you are working blind. For this method, place the wedge between the window and body at the bottom of the window. Pry the bar back and place your tool inside the gap and feel around. Try to focus mainly on the right side of the door where the lock pull bar on the inside would be. Feel around with your wire and try to hook the bar that operates the locks. Once hooked, give it a pull up to unlock the car. Hopefully this is more helpful than it is confusing. I will try to find some photos of the actual tools used so that you can get a better idea of just what I'm talking about and can have more success making your own lock out kit. Trust me, if you know this information and can get good at doing this, you will never be left alone by your friends again. You will most likely become their new AAA or locksmith. Try to practice on your own vehicle or the vehicle of one of your friends. Do it over and over untill you can get into your own car without the keys in under 30 seconds. Yes, it can really be that quick.
Spy & CounterSpy
Spy & CounterSpy is a practical course in freedom skills – including countersurveillance, antisurveillance, and underground urban activism. If you live in the USA, the odds are one in four that you will someday become a target for surveillance and repression – by a government security service like the FBI or BATF or DEA, by an intelligence agency like the NSA or CIA or DIA, by undercover cops, or others. Being innocent is no protection against the apparatus of surveillance and repression. If you're involved with any group that wants to change the status quo, then you're a target for surveillance – no matter how benign your goals. Sometimes simply being an American with an open mind and a diverse range of interests is enough to invite surveillance.
