Know Your Camera

         What does it stand for and how is it different from a point and shoot type camera?

I think it means you just point the camera and take a picture of what you want to. 

Modes (define each):

         Program mode: name some of the modes here

           Auto Mode

The camera does everything, the shutter speed, white balance, focus, etc.

         Manual mode

You have full control of the camera, it is the opposite of auto mode.

            Iso/film speed/ ASA

ISO measures the sensitivity of the image sensor

            Aperture:

It opens the lens so more light gets in.

Shutter speed:

The amount of time that shutter is open

  White balance:

         What is it? How do you set it?

The reason to adjust white balance it to get the colors the most accurate that they can be.
