#ad Josh and I have a running joke that each new year we end up doing something or going somewhere completely unpredictable. Example: We got married in 2013. By fall 2014, we had our first child. Happy? Yes! Predicted? NO! By 2015 I had started my blog, was working part-time for our church and LOVING it, and Josh landed his first full-time job. Not too crazy, but unpredicted nonetheless. By 2016, the blog had skyrocketed, aaand we went un a very unexpected missions trip to a country in Eurasia that we only thought we had heard of before. In 2017, we moved to WA- something we didn’t think was going to happen for the next few years (oh, and we had baby #2- very expected, thank goodness). And this year, because of the skills I’ve learned through creating and managing Living the Sweet Wife, I was offered a full-time remote gig as a NYC tech start-up’s content marketer. It’s been a whirlwind. With all that being said, each year can hold many changes for every family. Sometimes it can mean getting a new job, having another baby, or moving to a new city- just like us! Moving to a new city can be exciting, but it can also be stressful, nerve-wracking, and a bit of a headache. There are so many things to consider when choosing a new area to live and while dreaming about nicer weather or decorating your new home might be fun, there are many other things to consider when choosing your next home city. On the blog today, I wrote a brand new post about the factors of moving and choosing a new city that are often overlooked.
