It’s unfortunate that the sidewalks have only become more uneven since his last stay. It’s not as though he’ll be too impeded by the landscape, but it certainly is somewhat bothersome. Admittedly, his fighting style has always relied more on strength than finesse and mobility; nevertheless, he has managed not avoid a decent amount of clumsiness (clumsy though he may be in conversation).
There’s an advertisement for the police department that catches his eye; he’s not especially interested in the position, but it would be nice to get a job that isn’t too far from his home. He realizes he’s already accepted his fate of being trapped her for a while. Ah, w--
He’s shaken from his thoughts by a particularly insidious crack in the pavement that sends him flying ungracefully onto his face. He grunts, and when he looks up, there is a red animal-esque creature staring at him. He had forgotten the... interesting array of creatures that populate this city.

He’s tempted to lay there for a while as he realizes that he’s honestly very, very tired.
