It's so hot I had to bring the fan in to cook. I'm trying to work on taking better care of myself, and that means real food not just instant meals (when able of course.)
I mean I know it's not much, the potatoes are the microwave steam kind and I bought a packet of slow cooked beef, but that's three times what I normally do. I'm trying to work out spoonie cooking - simple recipes and assembly - so that I'm not completely reliant on instant or no meals.
I used to cook a lot but with my ex it became a horrible chore and demand so I grew to hate it. When it was just me I didn't bother until I realised that yknow I deserve to eat and I'm allowed to do nice things for myself.
I still don't like cooking but I'm trying, especially since my girlfriend will be moving here this year. It won't be just me anymore and I need to pick up my share of the cooking.
