Kobayashi and Tohru work because they both equally provide something to the other. Kobayashi offers Tohru simple kindness, freedom, and understanding. Tohru offers Kobayashi excitement, companionship, and care. Most of all though, they both inspired the other to enjoy and cherish life more.

Kobayashi wouldn't be able to express herself and live fully in the moment if it wasn't for Tohru. Tohru wouldn't be able take pleasure from simple things and have a safe place if it wasn't for Kobayashi. They equally support each other, even when they disagree. And of course, the two of them band together to provide support and a home for Kanna and Ilulu.

Their relationship just means a lot to me, so I thought I would share my feelings on it.
