Day 49 - Koch Snowflake
Playing around with the start and endpoints of koch-lines lets us create alternative patterns, like the famous koch snowflake.
I was thinking about trying to draw a Koch Snowflake on day 10 when the #inktober prompt was “pattern,” but I went another way. When I saw the prompt for day 11 was SNOW, I took it as a sign! Anyway, there’s a reason these are usually created by an awesome computer program or something. Or maybe I should have dug out a ruler or something. I just wanted to give it a shot freehand and this is what I got. Decent, not perfect, but definitely very zen to create. @jakeparker @inktober #kochsnowflake #mathchick https://www.instagram.com/p/B3dcG6YhC05/?igshid=1k1ih1jtsc7re
