A lot of people hate Monday. Monday is the start of the work and school week, but me personally Monday is just another day closer to accomplishing my goals. Don’t think of it as a drag think of it as a JUMP START to your week. If you need some Monday motivation then Koffee B’s “Weigh Loss Journey” will give you that boost that you need.

Stop The Violence

The violence in Chicago has gotten out of control and is slowly moving to the suburbs. The streets that people once called their playground are now quickly turning into a gravesite. It’s hard to talk about how beautiful Chicago is with the sites, the building, the museums and more when no one can get passed all the crime. Why do we hate each other so much? What is ever the reason to kill? Somewhere in Chicago a 17 year old will never get to experience the college life. Somewhere in Chicago a parent of a two year old child will never get to go out and ride a bike! This has to STOP!
Recent studies show that Chicago has passed New York with the highest murder rate in the US. Just in January 2013 over 40 people had been murdered by January 28th. That’s the highest since 2002! So far this year there has been over 350 on log, but how many go unnoticed? It’s truly time to take back our streets. Are we proud to have the title Murder Capital or Chirag? Know that things can’t be perfect, but our kids are dying to soon. It’s time to make a change! Be the difference that you want to see because it starts with you.
