There will definitely be more Kenjaku hole (yummy) to be had; I am an absolute fiend for this critter. I've been debating on something pertaining to picking at the stitches a la dermatilomania style. I can't help but imagine having threads pulling at the face, where muscles are constantly moving, would be itchy. Not to mention the nature of having stitches. It's a skin pickers dream (my freak ass 💀).

I reckon Kenny may enjoy a little scratchy scratch there. As a treat. Totally won't bite your fingers.

I would also like to write some more blatant smut for them, though I'm still on the fence as far as posting it goes.

I concur with the other commenter, you should do something with Kenjaku in Kaori’s body. There’s a lot to be had there.

This is shaping up to be a definite yes, the only thing I really have to figure out is the approach. I'm more used to writing 3rd person/canon x canon than canon x reader, so figuring out the kind of role the reader could play is the biggest challenge while still keeping everything feasible and (ideally) avoiding being overly tropey.

I'm currently entertaining a play on how Kenjaku approaches vessels and switching, specifically with the idea of them taking the new target vessel for a "test ride" (sex) before hopping over in the future, and then once occupying the new body, experiencing the act firsthand in the vessels body while also being able to access the vessels memory of sex with Kenjaku in the prior vessel (confusing huh). Seems like the kind of shit they would do with the possibility for a hell of a character study, but I'm not a huge fan of the whole making the 'reader a vessel' route.

Knowing just ANYONE sees value in my creative shenanigans is like a drug to me. At risk of sounding sappy, I don't get a lot of creative validation irl, so comments and interaction mean so much to me. Getting the gay sappy talk aside though...

Don't get me STARTED on my neurosurgeon Kenny AU (pleasedo), I will never shut up. I usually just call him Sweater (because I always draw him in a grey sweater, and there's a symbolic reason for this but shh another time), I have an old character sheet for him, but it's about a year old and I can do him more justice now. I post a lot more of him on my Instagram because I didn't think tumblr cared much for a male presenting/non-canon depiction of Kenjaku. He's my favorite Kenny AU I have though, so I'm delighted to hear people are interested!

The Tengen AU is somewhat new, and mostly just exists in my head so far 😭 TLDR; I used to be severely agoraphobic, and I like to project that onto Tengen (though its arguably canon to some degree), and I've had stalker situations in the past, so you see where that's going.

You absolutely nailed that observation, anon. 😭 It's another idea I've entertained for years, partly because it feels like such low hanging fruit and partially born of my own issues as the best things are hello. If/when I do expand on it, I want it to encapsulate all the themes I've imagined and do the concept justice, even if that means being unapologetic in terms of content. That seems truest to the character and only fair to the full weight of what I'm implying there.

I'm slowly building the courage to go hog wild here and stop being held back by fear of perception (I myself have no idea what I'm really even scared of, I'm a kenjaku blog ffs, fork in the kitchen, there's going to be fucked shit). Doing smaller drabbles like that helps me to simultaneously get the idea out there and get a bit of a rain check on how people consume it.
