love when i write down what bird species i have dreamt about that night (for my dream list) but it’s still night so my spelling is bad, my keyboard set to english, and i write in three different languages anyways. results in stuff like this:
Kohejre (Bubulcus ibis)
Cattle Egret (Bubulcus ibis)
The first flock of Cattle Egret observed in Denmark. Normally, this relatively rare guest occurs as single birds, andf the current flock of originally four birds, now only three, is quite the attraction.
The birds have kept to the same area for about four weeks now, and it seems the mild winter weather means they apparently have no problems finding food.
