I m taking a watercolour class online through Domestika.
I ended up taking a piece I did from our first lesson and expanding on it and painting lose roses.
She had us draw circles in our sketch book with just paint. I was like wait a minute those could be roses.
So i turned them into like cinnamon bun roses 😂 I don’t know what to call this stage so that’s what I’m calling them
The finished project is one of my best loose rose paintings ever! I started painting loose roses in the summer with acrylics and had done some tutorials on YouTube. I think they are still kind of rigid but i added white acrylics to add some more white ‘space’.
I painted these with Koi and my very small pallet of white nights. I am so in love with the vibrancy of the white nights I need more.
