if i look at this broadly, i think she speaks mostly in french (because fontaine—though fontaine is like france plus other european countries iirc, but for the sake of my brain.... T-T) since she's based there and so she'd spend the most time speaking it? and i think iseul becomes accustomed to father speaking french both in casual... and other... ways but iseul doesn't necessarily confuse the two yk? like orders are orders and other orders are... other orders... asldfkjsdflaksf

UM ANYWAYS i think there's like a thing where people's tone and pitches of voice change when speaking in different languages but in my head, i think she keeps her sultry-ish low voice in all 3 (kr, fr, rs), like in my head she has the same pitch-ish in her kr voice to her fr and rs voice but the mannerisms? are different

like kr is kr but fr i like to think that she speaks slower, putting some emphasis on some sounds and she just drags her words, but not too heavy asldkfasldfkj i hope this makes sense, rs i think is similar in that sense, though i think she speaks much faster in rs than she does fr and even kr but when she speaks to iseul, i think she slows down just a little bit to make it a little bit more sensual yk? (also.... because it's how you speak to.... small children.... rolls over and dies)

typed all that out just to realize that i think she just generally speaks slower to iseul, especially when they're alone, because she knows how much iseul likes it asldkfjasdflkajsf, but with others she just speaks however she sees fit as the situation calls for it

also kr theoretically is a very foreign language in teyvat because genshinkorea does not exist in game so if i get too bogged down by the details (iseul being very young when they meet, so iseul won't know the language well enough for her to teach it to arlecchino, so kr would be a very rare thing

waving that aside yes i think she would speak french the most, especially when there are others around (assuming they're in hoh), russian only for the occassional nickname and when they're in snezhnaya, and kr when they're alone..... yeah.....

unsure what the nicknames would be exactly but something akin to "little one" and "my dewdrop" (in kr, i think it'd be 슬이 but only when she's trying to tease because seul-i is more cutesy and not something arlecchino would use very often [in public].... i think.... 애기야 too for the enlightened.... with a little chuckle and everything KILL MEEEEEE)

i do think though that arlecchino would call her by her full given name 이슬 in public and when others are around regardless of who they are

okay now if i try to look at this in scope of the question.....:

i think regardless of the language she speaks, iseul responds similarly but if i were to standardize this (i.e. imagine arlecchino lifting her chin and then saying something in the respective language), then uh

kr: biggest reaction, doe eyes and everything, it's a good thing arlecchino is so close to her (physically) because otherwise poor iseul would have collapsed

fr: another big reaction, small gasp wide eyes unblinking, but rather than feeling like her knees are wobbly, it's more like she would freeze

rs: i think this would be about as intimate as kr would be because this is a language that arlecchino would have taught iseul herself so there's like that emotion? with it? idk what the word is but it's like pretty significant to be talked to in a language that was taught to you and not just as a rearing language dykwim?? but i do think the response is pretty similar to fr arlecchino

bedroom part of the answer:

i do think that they switch between languages but it's arlecchino who changes them, and if i were to quantify, i think it'd look something like 50% kr, 40% fr, 10% rs?? yeah...

also if i think about it more, i think regardless of language, iseul becomes so pliant at her words >.< but i think kr arle leaves her fluttering the most, followed by french, and then rs

something something genshinkoi (ineo) being sent to mondstadt on a diplomacy mission by arlecchino (or, alternatively, to check on the fatui agents there) when she sees lohen who’s conversing with some of the other knights outside the knights of favonius hq. and initially, she pays him no mind, but he goes out of his way to greet her, “you must be miss ineo from fontaine. the knave’s, was it?” and she looks at him like who are you but answers him with a curt but polite “yes.” and he just smiles, taking her hand and pressing a kiss to her knuckles (i’m screaming), and offers to escort her to jean’s office. she refuses, of course, and lohen just takes a step back, shrugs, and drops it, bowing a little before turning back to his conversation

she doesn’t see him after that during her week-long stay at the grand goth hotel (i fully googled inns in mond and found that this place is affiliated with the fatui… hashtag fated) but she gets this eerie feeling that she’s being watched and followed. she can’t shake the uneasiness as she purchases souvenirs from marjorie’s shop and orders lunch from good hunter, but as she’s seated at a table waiting for her food, she feels a presence behind her and it’s lohen smiling and waving as he approaches. he tries to make small talk, ask how she’s liking mond, what it’s like in fontaine, if she’s ever visited nod krai… and for some reason, the more he talks to her, the more comfortable she feels around him and she begins to relax a little. he’s still all close-eyed smiles and nods when he invites her to the angel’s share later that night, that it’s part of the mondstadt experience, and she thinks on it — she’s done with her responsibilities and has the time to explore the city, so she says, “sure, why not?”

but she doesn’t notice the dark gleam in his eyes…

before heading out to meet with lohen, she’s finished writing and sending her report to “father” and she notices that she’s feeling super nervous — the novelty of it all or something… they meet at the door of angel’s share (he holds it open for her), they sit down, order their things, and it’s like very clearly a date… but like no, because it’s just as friends!!! surely!!!
