Ichigo is the first character to appear in my fan comic, and Satoshi Ishino has by far, or had, the best character art in TMM 2002, to get his Style right, I followed Ishino and redrew the character designs by Mari Kitayama.

I decided that it was a good time to give the animation directors of Tokyo Mew Mew the credit they deserve. So everyday, all this week, I will post up a photoset of Mew Ichigo screencaps from certain episodes with the name of the animation director. I'll go through the solo directors first and the last post will have the last director and episodes featuring multiple directors.
First up is Koichi Usami, whose style is simple yet consistent with minimal mistakes. One cool thing is that this director got to go full circle by doing the first and last episode. It's also fun to compare how much the animation evolved between the two (a.k.a. - No budget vs. decent budget XD).
Black Cat: Episode 18
Episode 18: "The Cat Deploys" Before watching this episode, on a scale of 1-10, how much are you looking forward to seeing it again? Well the previous episode was a disappointment. Hopefully this one's not. 5.

Ellie: "You leave me no choice. I activate my hidden power, super pouty sad face!"
