Not the other anon. I was reading your analysis and man I loved it. It's also sad how very quickly he lost the constructicons too. Prowl isn't good at holding on to anyone it seems. D:

Man, I wish the Prowl/Constructicons dynamic was stretched out further! Its not really Prowl’s fault. Starscream separated the Constructicons from Prowl on purpose- probably for the purpose of incorporating Scoop into the combiner. Augh, Devastator feeling betrayed by Prowl tho- that is SO COOL. There’s potential for more Constructicons/Prowl in the future! I mean, he admitted post Combiner Wars that he could never see them as the same thing as before- an enemy-, because he’s a part of them and they are a part of him. I bet they miss him. I wonder if they loathe Scoop being in their gestalt. God, the dynamics and details that could go into it is amazing.

So, I love Prowlastator and I hope for more in the future eventually.

Did you have to include Optimus? IDW OP is a huge loser.

Alright, anon. I’m gonna be straight with you.

One: That art is a part of requests sent for a palette challenge. Someone requested IDW Prowl and OP- now, usually I’d just pick one b ut the palette’s name  they chose is ‘What I gain I lose’. And the composition hit me like a freight train. I recently re-read ex-RID a few weekends ago and the whole dynamic of Prowl/OP/Constructicons is fantastic. Prowl trusts and even has confidence in OP until Megatron’s trial- where OP lets the genocidal tyrant(as Prowl views him) more or less free and lets him become an AUTOBOT too. So the request prompted me to think how Prowl felt like he lost OP but gained the Constructicons, who genuinely like the guy and its crazy and I love Prowlastator. Anyways, in the end, I did as requested and followed the theme of the palette’s title.

Now, two: I can draw what I would like and perhaps I like IDW OP. He makes mistakes and he’s problematic and he struggles and I LOVE that. I can’t wait to see bad decisions bite him and just see where the road he’s paved leaves. And see him struggle with how all the Primes before him were either false Primes or more or less a grab bag of dicks.

And that’s why I included OP.

Haha, thanks! I mean, every Prime is kinda a dick in their own way and I had to draw four tiers of dick for that thing- five if you count Optimus. And Optimus kinda is one, tbh. Can’t wait for that arc though and we’re so close too!
