Red Light District | Koiinu | Closed RP
“Those idiots...”
Masculine and graveled, like the rocks tumbling down a subtle earthy slope. That was his voice that rolled off the tip of his tongue. It was hardly audible in the bustle of commotion surrounding him. Downtown and beneath the ground, it was a city within a city. Contained and hidden from the public eye, away from the government where secrets could be easily passed around without anyone noticing. On occasion, even some higher authorities would dapple their hands into the mischief that could not afford to be exposed. It was the one and only true place within miles, perhaps even a whole state, that consisted of a 'black market'.
The lean male was not in the usual part of underground district where trades were happening. He was toward the western side. Away from most of the commotion but there were still enough bustle to make him blend in. He stood on the corner of the large pathway that resembled a street, only no vehicles rode down it. There were only a few horses but most everyone walked around these parts, the place was too choked up to be having vehicles exhaust their fumes down below. He was leaned against a lamp post, it's warm orange lighting filtered the area around him.
It was just enough light to reveal some of his features. He wore a black coat, hood pulled over his head and rims trimmed in thick fur. His hands were in leather gloves but were currently tucked away into the pockets of his coat. Dark blue jeans, with a various amount of stitchings to mask old holes and slashes that had been crafted. Beneath his coat it seemed there was something more, like he was carrying more beneath that caused the coat to puff out more than what was normal. On his back might have revealed just what was beneath his jacket; a sniper rifle with a sturdy strap was slung onto his shoulder.
He was unconcerned about his features down here, watching passerbyers with half lidded gazes as he sought for someone. Not anyone in particular, he was just looking for that someone. Usually they stood on corners and flaunted their body. Other times they lurked by alleyways, gesturing for others to follow them someplace else. This wasn't his normal method of getting what he wanted on a late night but he was crawling with anger. A fury that was much easier relieved by finding someone willing, paying them for it, and moving along his way without worrying about sneaking out the next morning. After all, those who got paid weren't ever interested in what happened the morning after. It made everything so much easier and it turned out to be a win—win situation.
No?
Remuel was his name, he was known as a rogue and not many approached him underground. He was the one often approaching others. The people around often sensed that something seemed off about him, dark and reclusive. Yet here he was, eying the people passing by, waiting for a someone who was in need of some money through means of intercourse.
