ok so hear me out

danny gets ghost at like 10-11ish and doesn’t do anything for a solid year.

for some reason during this period (before he becomes phantom so like 6 months into the year) the batfam is in amity. probably dick first then cass, tim and so on.

batfam notices smth ain’t right whether it be the gentian A+ parenting skills or his physical state, ghost qualities whatever and like slowly tries to interrogate danny. OR danny being the kid he is (especially younger) just drops the bomb

anyway due to the portal and ghost coming through, amity is in chaos so jazz steps up as the older sister she is and deals with the crisis. although it becokes too much so danny being danny, intervenes bc ofc he does. becomes phantom yadadada but since jazz either knows abt it from the very beginning or figures out quickly, makes danny sign up for like self defense classes or like karate so he ain’t fending for himself.

^ another idea if he does the classes then like Ra Al Ghul could’ve heard abt amity and poses as teacher to investigate and the fic could go another route with that being the reason the batfam comes into play

so that happens and throwback to jack and maddie we could go the whole vivisection route and jazz is like NOPE we are leaving and jazz, somehow moves her and danny to gotham. through plot and sheer will the batfam gets involved

im going to scrap a lot of this but i might write a fic
