So I was thinking, what if during Yuta’s branched development from 2nd to 3rd stage he had chosen Maruna over Leez and become more Garuda instead of Chaos.
(I ended up just slapping on some Maruna parts -_-)
Yuta’s wings and hair stayed the same from 2nd to 3rd stage so I kept them the same here.
In canon when Yuta developed, his 3rd stage sura form had more red so I wanted to do the opposite here and include less red. Likewise as the mark of his chest became bright red and larger, here it is duller and less extensive.
I noticed that both Maruna and Yuta (3rd) both had armor limb parts, so here the armor parts on Yuta look like a color swapped version of Maruna’s. Maruna had 3 toes in front and 1 behind, Yuta(3rd) had 5 all up front so this alternate 3rd stage has 4 on front and 1 behind. Yuta in 2nd and 3rd stage sura form had the posture of a human, while the garuda suras so far had a more crouched posture, so I went half way here.
The mask is reminiscent of Garuda’s mask so I though it was important. I initially was thinking of making it into more of a head piece like Maruna’s or the garuda Rakshasa that was shown as an example. My next thought was to get rid of the red lines and make it more like Garuda’s mask. The idea I ended up going with was making the mask more beak like and having the red lines on it be less chaotic.
I was again conflicted over what to do with the eyes. For most of the sura seen there is no pupil/iris definition and the whole eye is one color, but this is already not so for Yuta. I was considering making his eyes grey since I wanted to include less red, but ultimately since all his forms seen have the red eyes, I kept them.
... I forgot the tail orz... whatever.
