Mini rant that came from trying to do a character analysis on Mac to write NSFW fics of them that are also in character:

You guys remember in the game when they moan right?? Well they were really embarrassed by the noises they made (calling it ‘incredibly embarrassing’ ) so it makes me theorize that while Mac is open about sex and is really flirty, they get flustered when THEY are the loud one or the one that’s more excited/eager. YOU’RE the one crying their name and barely controlling yourself? They love it. Flip it around and they’re red from embarrassment because/but they can’t stop the noises that come out of them, does this make sense??? Am I cooking???

Or did I finally go insane 🫩

Thank You For Everything!

Hey guys, sooo my inbox is cleared, 100k words have been reached, and all the fics I’ve ever wanted to write about Mac have been posted. Safe to say I am finally ready to retire my account and just in case anyone was wondering, no, I am not deleting anything. All I have posted will stay up here and on AO3 🙂‍↕️

From a college AU fic I made on a whim I honestly wasn’t ready for this to be something I would keep up for… 5 months, dang. It’s honestly really funny thinking back how I first wanted to end this blog during September or October because of Uni and now this blog has lasted longer than the semester, whoops. I think in the back of my mind I didn’t want to for this end so I kept coming up with reasons to delay it even if it came at the expense of sleepless nights and dozing off during class.

This blog was so much fun and I’ll definitely look back on it fondly. It was so cool to create, view, and sometimes even interact with others in the Mac nation, especially if they were a mutual (y’all are amazing <3)! That’s actually what I’m most looking forward to after this retirement, I spent so much of my time on school or writing for this blog I slowly stopped being able to read what my mutuals/ other DE writers have posted. Aaaaaaaa I’m so excited to get to read Mac fics again (+ plus some other characters)!!

I’m going to leave asks open so if anyone wants to tell me something, like if new official DE art with Mac in it came out someone can pls pls pls lmk. I’ll be back on my main blog from now on. To be fully transparent I do feel I could keep writing about Mac for longer, I mean my drafts doc says as much:

But in general I feel this blog has run its course and reached a great place to end my writing. Mac, you will stay being your nerdy computer self, and I will stay loving you, just silently now. Take care everyone and anyone who has ever interacted or simply viewed my blog, I hope any reader found enjoyment in my works as I certainly enjoyed writing them!

P.S. To still be able to occasionally scratch that writing itch I’ve now developed I will be going back to my works and editing them sometimes. Most of it would be to (what I hope is) improve them, clean up clunky writing, extend portions I feel could be better fleshed out, and try my best to remove almost all mentions of (Y/N). Idk I never minded it when I was a younger self-insert reader yet as the years go by I find myself liking it less and less, so I’m going to attempt getting rid of it entirely unless there is no other substitute.

Y’all I’m Chicana and how cringe would it be if I write a whole fanfic about teaching Mac all about Mexican culture? Foods, language, music, traditions? Cuddling with Mac during winter while enjoying some atole con pan dulce? Teaching Mac Spanish? (Judging by how they say Alberto, they have a strong accent but it’s still sooo cute!!) Making them try tamales, arroz con leche, tortas, cacao(drink), nieve con chamoy etc? Calling them pet names in Spanish and having them call us some in return because they want to try and connect with us?? I probably won’t write it since idk how much overlap there is between Mexicans and Mac lovers but this idea keeps me up at night 😭 maybe a small Drabble solely about teaching them Spanish? just to scratch that itch

(I want to call Mac cariño, mi amor, tesoro, corazón, mi vida, mi alma in my fics SO BAD, even go as far as calling them bombón even if its cringy)

I found it interesting they use pretty tame curse words like ‘damn’ and ‘crap’, when they say ‘fuck’ they are quoting Rebel and even then they state “excuse the language”, this points me to believe Mac chooses not to curse but I wonder why…
