Kōmyōin, a Zen Garden in the Heart of Kyoto. This is the Hashin'noniwa (波心の庭) or the “Wave of Heart garden” of Kōmyōin (光明院). Komyoin is a sub temple of Tōfuku-ji (東福寺) and the karesansui (枯山水) Zen garden was designed by Shigemori Mirei (重森三玲) in 1939.
