Some tiny notes I decided to doodle, I forgot to add that Konan and her mutated grimchild, Lummi, glow in the dark with how much Lifeblood they’ve consumed. I’ve also been thinking, there’s a chance Konan might go into a ballistic mindless rage if she can’t fix herself with Lifeblood during her withdrawal, but since she usually carries emergency bottles with her, it’s a rare occurrence.
She’s usually very kind!
Also!
Some bonus doodles! Featuring two other characters that belong to @miikrowelle and @dusalex
Really loved these two beans and I wanted to doodle them as well- whenever I’m with my computer again, I’ll definitely draw them again digitally!
I took the entirety of yesterday to draw for myself as a break from Artfight. This scene has been playing in my head for some time after coming up with my own research base for my new characters!
Originally, I was going to make character sheets for all of them, but I quickly lost the wind for that and just settled for messy line art, hahah. The top row of characters have a rough description of what they do, but the others are still in the works. Avocado, Harvest Gold, and Rich Black are the head researchers on their own jobs.
Also, Avocado and Harvest Gold are happily married.
All of them, finally drawn together! All day spent drawing the makeshift family of Sanctuary. We have: Sarara (the sun icon), Goruru (Big oni guy), Aromama (the tea cup hat), Bobaba (the glass arms), The Forest Spirit (lil thing in the pot), Peitoto (the color explosion), and finally, the grandmother of the group, Kikoko (the koi colored Oracle)
someday more to be added-!
I want to make official little pages for them, but man, am I drained from this...
Writing some more things for my proper gamestyle, Among Us oc.
VB is tired mostly because of her transfer from a previous disaster, and because she does two jobs for her new crew. She was originally an engineer, but someone witnessed her cooking for her kids, and somehow she ended up with that task as well. VB knows three imposters, one of whom is her child, Morning Sky Blue (the darker of the two children).
If you are curious about the other child's name, it's just as long: Medium Spring Bud. Violet-Blue refers to the two as Sky and Spring, but says their full name when they are in trouble. haha.
I haven't done an Artfight card since I first joined- well, here we go! A few of my special characters from my original story have been uploaded to it, haha.
I look forward to participating this year. I wonder if the trio fight is going to be a one-time thing?
Fun fact: I never made a proper ref sheet of my Hollow Knight character.
A peaceful union between a dragonfly king touched by Lifeblood and an Entity straight from the void itself. While her twin brother inherited their father's wings, Konan inherited her mother's void abilities. Her shade is a mixed harmony of Life and Void and acts more like herself... However, Konan's broken left behind shell gets animated and mindlessly hunts everything around it, looking to consume its absent shade.
When her eyes aren't present, it's best to take caution.
I've been busy... coming up with a personal Backrooms floor revolving around the 2nd ending for Sunny. Welcome to what I'm lovingly calling Backrooms Level: Arcapelago Festival. It's a wide expanse of ocean with islands scattered about, and the main island has a large hotel.
The floor itself has a cycle of 5 days and 5 nights, each spanning 24 hours. On the 5th night, an event happens called "The festival", where a large line of shadows comes crawling out of the ocean and parades between the many islands. If you are a Wanderer, you have to get inside, or else they'll drag you into the deep, dark blue. While they don't seem to like humans (Entity 1), they seem to be indifferent to other entities unless they are provoked; otherwise, they will just keep marching on.
If any other entity does end up provoking the traveling crowd, they too will have the same fate as a Wanderer.
Now, info about the Hotel; it seems to be a large intact building without power. Upon entry, it's just that: a large hotel that is fully furnished. The lobby is spacious, and a point of interest appears to be the employee-only door by the reception desk. It doesn't seem to open like the rest of the doors.
And that's all I have for now. With this new ending branch, I'll be giving my character's new outfits, Huzzah! That will be coming soon, but this ending will definitely be my "all backrooms ocs here" kinda deal.
Meet Tile. A wanderer who was recently turned, he fell into the poolrooms trying to escape level fun! He doesn't remember how long he's been here, and he doesn't remember his name much either. All he remembers is that he was chaperoning for a pool party, and now he's calling himself Tile.
That wasn't his name... what was it? Was he a father? What's that??
He doesn't like the other attendants of the party he was just at, though.
(Yes, his one leg is made of the same pool tiles. Makes a clinking noise when he walks, haha. I really wanted to make a poolroom-themed character.)
Now, for some more Hotel work :D!
More notes and a second page to the comic; unsure if I'll make a third, but basically the trio have a serious talk.
The hotel, unpowered, is incredibly safe. However, Sunny was the only one who had been reached out to, as she found out by asking if she was the only one hearing voices.
This concerned both Null and Big Man, and they did not like the fact that some mimetic effect was happening to their friend. A building can't ask for help. Sunny agreed with them, so they knew she wasn't under mind control, because it made her feel uneasy. The voice didn't have a sound, and it felt like heavy static in her head... and also it felt sad.
At this time, Sunny was tired; she was done wandering the backrooms, and she didn't care if she never found a way out. This place was as safe as could be, and it would be better if it were powered. Sunny was thinking of answering the call for help, even though she wasn't sure what would happen.
Walking back to the lobby desk, Sunny waited for the 'employee-only' door to open back up. Both companions were worried and tried to talk her out of it, but she only gave them a reassuring smile. The building, feeling happier, gave its thanks, reassuring her that nothing bad would happen.
It gave her a chance to back out, it warned her that if she went through with becoming the new Overseer... she would never be able to leave the floor. She would be stuck here, never to age again, but could still die. She would gain the ability to sense when someone was in the hotel or within a certain radius around it. It warned her of this because it didn't want a repeat of the last Overseer.
When she asked, the hotel didn't reply. A wave of sadness was her only answer. So, with a hard look at the only thing that was powered within the building, Sunny typed her name in the console.
> No current overseer
> Please input new Overseer info:
"Sunny Mayfield"
> ... ... ...
> Input Accepted, Greetings new Overseer!
And with that, the Hotel slowly powered on. The voice no longer feels like static, and it has great gratitude toward Sunny.
Bonus image: Chibi drawings of the trio who now live at the hotel!
