Today I managed to oversleep by four hours. Not sure if I forgot to set my alarm or if I just managed to turn it off without waking up at all.

Either way, it allowed time for a dream that I fell into the Star Wars universe sometime between a new hope and empire strikes back. Of course I was trying to find my way back home but then ran into Hera and she offered to teach me to fly so I changed my mind. And in a logical dream progression I ended up making out with Hera Syndulla in the cockpit of the Ghost.

Which is when I was woken up to the sound of my neighbors extremely loud music and my roommate banging on the floor in an attempt to get them to shut up.

Today is not going to be a great day.

I have more of these than not, honestly. If we’re talking Star Wars, I also love me some Kanera, I think HanLeia can be pretty cute, I love the tragedy/angst of Anidala…

For some non-canon ships, I’m a sucker for Thranto and Kalluzeb. I also read a fair amount of StormPilot, which is pretty unoffensive to the fandom-at-large.

2. now name ur trash ship

Well, I have written a long, explicit Reylo fic. That’s a pretty hot-button ship nowadays. I’m definitely in the Reylo trashcan, tbh. #notsorry

3. and ur really trashy im-going-to-hell ship

Depending on who you ask, my answer to #2 still applies. 

For some reason, there are quality fanworks of the Rey/Kylo/Poe variety and I, like, kinda ship it now? Also just Kylo/Poe. Idek. 

I also read an Eli/Thrawn/Ronan fic recently and it…worked for some reason?

Hmmm. See the problem here is I will write almost anything, but I’m gonna answer what I might be too embarrassed to post. Maybe something that involves someone coming in their pants in public, in front of people who don’t know? That could apply to several of the aforementioned ships but I like Force-bond shenanigans with Reylo or like remote-controlled toys being used on the most tight-laced of the two (like Thrawn if it’s Thranto). That sinful enough for you??

13. what is your heart-breakingist head canon

Oh, what’s most heart-breaking to me or to everyone else?? Haha.

I don’t need a heart-breaking headcanon when Jedi Night happened in canon

I have a couple:

a) Obi-Wan realizes how much he might’ve liked to be born a ~regular~ person and had a family/kids with someone when he holds Luke/Leia for the first time. He’s never really thought about it before, but now that the Jedi Order is gone he realizes how much that possibility makes his heart ache.

b) Many of the Jedi/padawans that survived Order 66 really miss their Clones. Like they have pretty severe PTSD symptoms about the whole Jedi purge, but they can’t help but remember all the hundreds (thousands) of times Clones saved their lives and when they think about them being forced to become Stormtroopers (most of them would hate serving the Empire given its values), those Jedi/padawans feel like they should’ve protected the Clones.

c) I know the timing isn’t completely known with everything, but what if Hera suspected she was pregnant but didn’t know for sure yet when Kanan died. Like, she was debating whether or not to tell him before shit got real and regrets it forever that she didn’t. Likewise, maybe Kanan felt something in the Force and suspected it himself, but didn’t want to scare her and one of his last thoughts was wondering if it was true.

Self indulgent fanfic is so fun tho. I wish I actually wrote more of mine down instead of just daydreaming about it

Oh yeah, dude. Like these things start as super-elaborate daydreams for me and then I’m editing them in my head word-by-word and next thing I know I’m just like fuck it I’m putting it on paper.

I think they’re super fun but I’m also realistic that OC fics aren’t everyone’s jam.

Plus I wrote a really shitty fic one time when I was in middle school ( @ayearofmiracles knows the one and I’m so sorry dear) that was a cringy-ass Mary Sue ordeal and I am scared to write OCs for that reason. Like I’m actually a pretty good writer and my characters in my original fiction are good, but for some reason I have like a wall up on fanfic OCs.

It’s very self-indulgent like most of my non-postable fics. These always involve some degree of self-insert but then that character like grows its own personality and runs with it.

Long story short: she was the first one to ever send me a smutty prompt, talked for 2 years, became best friends, did 3 trips to various places, spent a month in the UK together, got an apartment, she is now sulking because I stole back my big hero 6 blanket and she had to get her own off her bed.

OMG this is the best story. Like the friend/platonic version of a rom-com (would 100% watch this if it existed).

I CAN’T BELIEVE THAT I SAW THIS POST AND IMMEDIATELY WENT TO THAT TIME SOMEONE RECC’D ME MY OWN SMUT and not to the fact that I met my current roommate via smutty fanfiction. Both of us still write smut. We Do Not talk about it.

oh my GOD this is amazing. How does this even happen? How do you meet someone via smutty fanfiction?

Honestly, not talking about it is the best policy I think. My roommate sophomore year of college found me on FFN because we were both heavily into Doctor Who at the time and I made the mistake of telling her when I was posting something (like I said something along the lines of “UGh I’m so done editing this fanfic I’m just POSTING IT”) so she looked under Doctor Who for recent fics. Haha I was embarrassed but honestly impressed at her detective skills. 

Now, of course, being a super professional doctor during the daytime means it could be bad if someone could connect me to my smutty fanfic so I keep my username secret and have only told a couple of really close friends that I trust how to find me.
