Genuinely trying not to fall down the rabbit hole that is Konon's Oinone.
There's so much here to unpack, not least that Oinone was a φαρμακουργος - a woman who studied the magical properties of plants. I love the idea (not really supported by Konon's account) that it was Oinone that taught Helen the knowledge that she uses in Odyssey book 4, once she was overcome with remorse at Paris' death and before she took her own life.

Pein has kind of an unexpected presence, but what he’s really there for is directing. He wants to be in charge of the show. He participated maybe once as a freshman but was saddened by the abysmal performance and has been slowly and insidiously taking control from the theater teacher in the years since. The last show is his and his alone.
Konan is the stage manager and smooths the way for Pein’s coup.
Itachi is very shy about it, but he has a song in his heart and he’s going to sing it. I’m not sure about whether or not he’d take the lead role, tbh, because he knows other people want it way more than he does but Pein really could force his hand. Who’s to say?
Kisame just painted sets and maybe does lighting to support his boys. He’s simply vibing.
Hidan thinks he’s soooo fucking good and gets pissed when he gets an ensemble role again and again and again. Eventually he gets 1-2 speaking lines where his mic is actually turned all the way on and it’s Hidan’s Big Day.
Kakuzu is not a theater kid. He does not actively scorn them, but he was not made for any part of it.
Deidara has the same energy as Sharpay from High School Musical. It’s his show, and he has the talent to prove it.
Sasori does set work with Kisame, tbh. Makes a loooot a lot of props and they’re like...uncomfortably detailed.
Tobi is either another ensemble member or busts out with a surprisingly powerful soliloquy? I think he’d maybe go really hard for Hamlet or something.
Zetsu would not do well being perceived at such a level, I think.
wacky half baked thought of the day- Konan might be distancely related to the senju clan because of her use of paper style, or she could just store tons of papers in scrolls and discreetly summons them off screen idk
