I am in love with your theme on your phone 😭 do you mind me asking how you did it? 🥺
Awww thanks babes! First of all I started with what theme I wanted to do and then thought about the things associated with it that I wanted to incorporate. I am not sure if you are a kpop stan or not but you will notice I have Bts and Txt quotes and pictures up. This was partly because I wanted to have Beomgyu form Txts "bear persona" ig you could call it, as a minor focus. (Theme was heavely inspired by that and the Thursdays Child album.)
Most of my pictures I get off of Pinterest or here on Tumblr. I like having my backgrounds as plainer pictures so it does not distract. Another cool trick is to use color blocking wallpapers like I did so you can tie the color palette into everything. Next find the widgets and other things you want to use AND how you want to organize it.
These are the apps I use:
- design keyboard (pretty self explanatory)
- simple photo widget (this allows you to put photos as widgets and have them open apps if you want. You can also put text at the bottom to name the widget, so I use that to put quotes.)
- snapkit (this is what I use for my apps and some of their widgets. This app has full themes you can download for free that will give you the app icon photos, wallpapers, and widgets to use. I don't use this method, I actually go to Pinterest to find the app icons and wallpapers. Just type in "blank aesthetic app icons". You might have to search non-common apps like Weverse, Be real, or any games you might have separately. If you can't find them I just use other photos or zoom in on another app icon to use the background color so it matches the theme. I hope that last bit makes sense. When setting your icons there will be a watermark if you do the regular way. To remove the watermark, select the app that you want, set the photo, then click remove watermark of something, I don't remember what the bottom says. After that you go to your home screen and go to your phones 'add widgets'. When you scroll down to the one by one widget option from that app and add it to you screen, it will automatically be the last app that you did in the app.)
I costomise not only social media themes and my home and lock screens but also my keyboards and phone case I do my self (which I will be posting later), and my music apps. You do not have to go that far for it to look cute. I do this all on a Motorola phone so no need for an iPhone either contrary to popular believe.
Wow that's a lot. I hope it helped, and I can definitely reiterate things, or post a quick video tutorial if you need more clarification. Thank you so much, I really enjoy costomising my phone and take great pride in showing it with others, so when people like it as much as I do it makes me really happy. This is also after a ton of practice with doing past themes and a long and titius process to put together, so if it doesn't turn out the way you want it to, you can always look forward to the next one which normally comes out better in my experience. Thanks again!🤎
