5) Favourite tag team/stable?

I love, love, love the Cosmic Wasteland. They have so much potential for story and there are so many people who could be logically added. Eden! Sandow! Barrett! Goldust! I literally could not have cared less about the Ascension until they became Stardust’s lackeys and then I was immediately so invested in them. Cody Rhodes being their mentor because he knows what it’s like to be trapped in tag team hell! GIVE ME THESE THINGS I WANT THEM

24) Favourite gimmick?

...You know, I think this is also Stardust? There’s just something so fascinating about, in the already murky world of kayfabe, there being a character whose gimmick is “he had a mental breakdown and thinks he someone else.” I just want someone to sit down with Stardust and let him explain the complex backstory you KNOW he has for himself. Did you know that Stardust was the name of Dusty’s private jet, and Cody was born in it? There are so many fucking levels to this and it’s so great.

5. How many words can you write if you sit down and concentrate intensely for an hour?

Uh, like.... up to around 5000? Something like that. I very rarely do this, though, because I write to music, and so the internet is always a distraction - plus I have too many lovely people online I want to spend my time on!

10.  What inspires you the most?

Emotion. Music intensifies this, but every story I have starts with one emotion, one aching feeling that needs to be shared with the world before it pulls me apart.

15. Your guilty writing pleasure?

I love writing no dialogue at all, even though everyone hates reading it! I don’t really like my own dialogue, and it’s much easier to play out an emotion if I don’t have to worry about speech patterns and who’s saying what.

1: What inspired you to write the fic this way?

Canon isn’t goof enough. I wanted so much better through so much, and just finally decided that if I didn’t get what I wanted, I was going to make what I wanted.

3: What's your favorite line of narration?

The road stretches on in front of them, dark and forbidding, the two of them following the twin glows of the headlights, which barely make a dent in the gloom. It’s not an entirely unfamiliar feeling. 

8. Did any real people or events inspire any part of it?

Not really, I use a lot of real emotions, but not normally real people. Sometimes my wife and I are echoed in relationships, but not in this case, I don’t think.

13. What music did you listen to, if any, to get in the mood for writing this story? Or if you didn't listen to anything, what do you think readers should listen to to accompany us while reading?
