kwangsoo loves jongkook since his first turbo concert when kwangsoo 13-in 1998 i think he was 13 im not sure - jongkook is an idol but kwangsoo is only student but 12 years later kwangsoo saw jongkook again in running man . and he still love jongkook please please write a fanfic about this pleaseeee
It started with borrowing cassettes of the duo’s singles from Ga Eun, claiming to do this to serenade her in the future when in reality he would lie on his bed for hours reveling in the sweetness of Jong Kook’s voice.
Then he started collecting posters, stickers, any kind of fan merchandise he could get his hands on using what was left from his milk allowance. Hell, there was that one time he went two whole days without his dairy dose just to buy that one body pillow of Kim Jong Kook.
When he and Ga Eun broke up he took comfort in Jong Kook’s sweet voice.
When Turbo disbanded 3 years later, he cried himself to sleep every night for 2 months, thinking that he will never get to see his idol perform ever again.
But when he heard that Kim Jong Kook was going solo, life became brighter once more as he could now buy solo posters and photobooks of the singer. The other members of Turbo were okay back in the day, but Kwang Soo cherished the youngest member’s solo shots above all.
Life went by as always, the gangly teenager that was Lee Kwang Soo went on to pursue a career in modeling, achieving his dream that was oh so similar to that of his idol’s. Modeling soon made way for acting and now at 26 years old, Lee Kwang Soo was going to star in his first ever variety show.
After receiving the invitation to become a cast member for Running Man he decided to scan the cast list to see who he would be working with and barely suppressed a squeal as he saw who he was going to be with:
Yoo Jae Suk. Ji Suk Jin. Ha Dong Hoon. All variety giants in the different shows that he loved to watch growing up and still followed when his schedule would allow it. He scanned the list further – Song Ji Hyo, Kang Gary, Song Joong Ki. All rising stars in their own rights, Kwangsoo started to have his doubts on whether or not he would fit in at all. After all, he’d only played smaller roles in comedies and dramas at that time. Would he even be able to compare to these budding TV personalities?
And then he saw it.
Kim Jong Kook. Kim motherfucking Jong Kook was part of the show.
He was so there.
