The UMC's (Undisputed Masters of Charisma) was a pre-Wu Staten Island duo composed by Haas G and Kool Kim, that released two albums before their break-up in 1994: ''Fruits of Nature'' (1991) is one of the most slept-on rap albums of all time. Produced by RNS, it is the epitome of early 90's hiphop flavor, and gained them some notority and success with big hits such as 'Blue Cheese' and 'One To Grow On'. In 1994, when the entire East Coast rap scene had gone grimy, they released their sophomore album 'Unleashed' with harder beats and darker style, but everybody expected it to be a sequel to the first album and their fanbase somehow lost heart at it.
