[Album] “We Care A Lot” - Faith No More veröffentlichen ihr Debütalbum als Deluxe-Band-Edition
“We Care A Lot” erschien ursprünglich 1985 auf Mordam Records. Am 19.08. - etwas mehr als 30 Jahre später - wartet die Band in Eigenregie mit einer Neuauflage ihres Debüts auf! Faith No More-Bassist und Labelgründer von Koolarrow Records Billy Gould erklärt die Motive hinter der Veröffentlichung:
“There were a couple of reasons we decided to release this now: first of all, it’s been 20 years since it has been commercially available. Secondly, when cleaning out my basement, I discovered the original master reels, and we all thought that resurrecting this from the original tapes would be a great way to reintroduce We Care A Lot into the world. Lastly, this has been a band effort; we are releasing this in the same way as we recorded it, deciding everything amongst ourselves and getting our hands deep into the nuts and bolts… just like we used to.”
Fans dürfen sich neben dem überarbeiteten Sound auch auf zusätzliches Material freuen: 9 Bonus Tracks enthalten Demo-Versionen (die von den orginalen 8-Track-Bändern stammen - “Greed,” “Mark Bowen,” “Arabian Disco” and “Intro”) sowie Live-Versionen ( “The Jungle” and “New Beginnings” ) und neue Mixes von Matt Wallace (R.E.M., Faith No More, 3 Doors Down) von den Titeln “We Care A Lot,” “Pills for Breakfast” und “As The Worm Turns”. Neue Liner-Notes und Photos runden das Paket ab.
