Sudan Doctors Network: One person was killed and five others were injured after the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) targeted a fuel station in the city of Kosti. One person was killed and five others were injured as a result of what the network described as a deliberate RSF drone strike on a fuel station in Kosti, White Nile State, this morning. The network also reported that the RSF targeted the cities of Umm Rawaba and Al-Rahad in North Kordofan State in attacks aimed at civilian areas with no military presence. The network stressed that the continued targeting of civilian facilities and infrastructure constitutes a serious violation and further worsens the suffering of citizens amid the country's difficult humanitarian conditions. The besieged citizens of El Obeid, North Kordofan, are trapped with no avenues to escape. Over the past two days, targeted drone strikes have hit fuel stations in El Obeid and Al-Rahad, as well as a fuel truck that was travelling along a road connecting the two towns. Now water prices have skyrocketed and no one can afford local transport. Donkey carts are the only means for most. Even worse, drones are circling the skies above and no one dares leave the city for fear of targeting. The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) appear to be preparing to siege the strategic capital of North Kordofan State. Civilians Ayin has spoken to fear yet another devastating raid like that seen in Wad Medani, Geneina, and El Fasher.

The Network holds the leadership of the Rapid Support Forces fully responsible for these violations and calls on the international community, as well as human rights and humanitarian organizations, to take urgent action to protect civilians and halt the attacks that threaten the lives of residents and worsen the humanitarian situation in the city.
