The only film I shoot these days is instax (mini or wide). I had years of doing film photography because that's where I started back in the 90's. I was in the darkroom developing film & photos, using the enlarger machine...I had one photo class & learned a lot. Much has changed since then, I shoot digital & with shooting instax it's easier on my budget.

I'm never moved when photogs online brag about how they only shoot film as if it puts them above others. Okay so you "only shoot film", would you like a cookie? It's okay if you shoot film, that's fine but using it as an "I'm better than you" take/stance makes you look & sound like a real piece of work.... and let's not forget, you're going to scan it, digitize it and upload it somewhere online so there's that...

Anyway, enjoy photography however you do it, whenever you do it no matter the format.

I think I found a new pet project. Capturing the Messier catalog and print them on my Instax mini printer. Started with Messier 13: Hercules Globular Cluster (NGC 6205) and Messier 51: Whirlpool Galaxy (NGC 5194, NGC 5195). I'll try to add more to the collection as soon as I can.
