The sweet, savory, and spicy flavors in these Korean Pork Chops work well together. They are marinated and caramelized just right to make a quick and filling meal with a Korean twist.
Ingredients: 4 boneless pork chops. 1/4 cup soy sauce. 3 tablespoons honey. 2 tablespoons gochujang Korean red pepper paste. 2 tablespoons sesame oil. 3 cloves garlic, minced. 1 tablespoon ginger, grated. 1 tablespoon vegetable oil. Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish. Cooked rice optional, for serving.
Instructions: Mix soy sauce, honey, gochujang, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger in a bowl. This will make the marinade. Put the pork chops in a shallow dish or a plastic bag that can be closed again, and pour half of the marinade over them. Save the rest of the marinade for another time. Put the dish or bag in the fridge for at least 30 minutes with the lid on or sealed. This will give the pork time to marinate. Put vegetable oil in a large skillet and heat it over medium-high heat. Take the pork chops out of the marinade and let the extra sauce drip off. Then, cook them in the skillet for four to five minutes on each side, or until they are fully cooked and caramelized. Put the marinade you saved into the pan and let it simmer for two to three minutes. This will make a glaze. The Korean Pork Chops should be served over cooked rice with the glaze on top. Sesame seeds and green onions should be used to decorate the plate. Have fun! There are no comments for
