this one was a bit odd. Had a few unresponsive pads but worked ok. The smartmedia slot in back was not lining up. Opened it up and cleaned everything etc. pads worked again. Tightened screws for smartmedia drive. Cool. Put it alll back together. Wouldn’t fire up. WTH. Open it back up. Test for continuity. Nada. But every time the power is on no response and no power to the board. 👌 so there’s a short. Check everything. Can’t see anything wrong. WTH? Finally realize the wrong screws are in the smart smartmedia drive and too long are touching the board and shorting out. And it was causing the smartmedia drive to not line up as well. Somebody had been in this one before.

Reaper – Midi Clock Sync – Success!

For  a while now I have been trying without success to get three external sequencers to sync with Reaper.

Korg EA-1, Korg Es-1 and Roland M-303

Using midi options and options.

  While It works to a degree it isn’t ideal – timing is off and looping is out of the question.
