GRADE
Although I've been working on a few, this is the first Korg iMS-20 track/noise I've done on the iPad in nearly a year. So it's a bit rough around the edges. The samples really feel quite limiting now which is probably because I don't know how to use it properly. Even so, time to learn Logic...
100bpm, recorded live.
OHMYGOD The talent :|
troika
Next tune from my Korg iMS-20 sessions. 97 bpm, live recorded.
naja
From here on in, any of the Korg tunes posted are a mix of old and new. I started many of them a while ago and have tweaked here and there. Naja happens to be one of the more recent additions. I tried to play more with basslines and trying to duplicate and seperate them by pitch, and refining percussion. Live recording, 116 bpm. Still loads to learn.
emergence
This one's a work in progress, but here is track 6 from my time with the Korg iMS-20. I think there's a beat too many in there - the higher-note single snare is maybe gonna go. Other than that, I'm fairly happy with it. Live recorded, 100bpm, tweaking live effects.
downfall
OK this is actually my fifth Korg iMS-20 track - I'll post 4 in due course as I may re-record it. Even this has a couple mistakes in it, such is the nature of live recording. Maybe I'll clean those up in due course. I'm getting the hang of effects, and using drum channels as an extra synth channel now. Can't believe how awesome this app is.
sokaku (delayed mix)
Here's my third attempt on the Korg iMS-20. This one's at 100bpm, and the first time I've tried live recording. This app is just fantastic - there are so many things to discover, and every time you do it's elating. Anyway, hope you find something you like in my fumbling audio buffonery - I'm getting there.
