THE LAST NIGHT

Very excited about this. As a huge fan of Another World and Flashback I’m often on the lookout for something to scratch my cinematic platformer itch. The Last Night is due 2016 for PS4, Mac and PC after winning the #cyberpunkjam last year. Tim and Adrien Soret made their teaser game in 6 days and are now in the process of making a full version of it. It pretty much appeals to everything I love with regards to games. Can’t wait.

Been so hectic the last year or so that I’ve barely had time to update here. In short: Man Down series 2 is finished and should be airing within a few weeks hopefully; I’m a couple of weeks away from shooting a one-off 60′ comedy drama that I should have more info on soon; I’ve been writing bits here and there (none of it ready to show yet); pitching ideas and preparing ideas to pitch; and lastly I’ve finally started writing and designing the point’n’click game I always wanted to make.

Good to be busy though innit?

A FAREWELL TO WEAPONS

This here is one of 4 short films that make up Short Peace, a Japanese omnibus film overseen by Katsuhiro Otomo, the acclaimed director of Akira and Steamboy. A Farewell to Arms is one of those four films and was directed by Hajime Katoki. Here it is in it's entirety, as it was originally made. No English subtitles I'm afraid, but it's worth watching regardless if you have any love of Anime, Masamune Shirow, and Neill Blomkamp.

UBERCVRRENT It's been a while since I posted. The Midnight Beast series 2 has finished going out on E4 now, although it's up on 4OD Ubercvrrent is one of the stand alone music promos - this one specifically was from the second episode of the series. Think it might be my favourite; we certainly enjoyed making it. I'm particularly proud of the Adidas balaclavas - they came out great! More of the stand-alone promos to follow.
