It's one of my choices and i went to the open day but i have a massive phobia of the beach so it really put me off going there especially as some of my course would be on the beach. I really liked the actual campus though and like the students i met there all said they love it there but it's a 6/7 hour drive home for me, although it doesn't bother me i still feel like it's too far if you get me? Idk i'm really stuck haha

if you think you'd really struggle being away from home, reconsider. accom at falmouth is very expensive, £124 a week i pay.. so i had enough money to live off, but nowhere near enough to be able to get to home at any point during term time. Second year/student houses are a MUCH cheaper alternative if you'd think you'd visit home alot. what course is it you're interested in? Gylly beach is beautiful, it's well looked after and if you needed a chance to get used to the ocean and stuff there is all the docks and by the museum to get you used to the water without being on the beach.. Gylly also has a lovely cafe and they do roast on the coast of a sunday which is cheap and they put entertainment on.. so that could be a good experience. 

With the beach stuff being said, the 13 weeks i was down there for first term i went to the beach once. so, for me it doesnt revolve around the beach!
