In two versions of Dionysus' upbringing, it's Apollo's sons who become Dionysus' foster father (Aristaeus in one and the Korybantes in the other version).

So imagine a 8 or 9 years old Dionysus meeting Apollo for the first time and calling him grandpa. And everyone starts giggling while Apollo is just shaking internally feeling so weird because he's not at all used to being called a grandpa (nobody is), he definitely doesn't look like one, and Dionysus is technically his brother. So he manages to put up small smile while letting out a slightly nervous laughter and says "please just call me Apollo."

After growing up and knowing the truth about his parentage and family, Dionysus still calls Apollo grandpa sometimes because he finds it funny to annoy Apollo and see the color drain from his face (over the years Apollo gets used to it and also warms up to it, even if he prefers Dionysus would just stop with it already)

-The Kabeiroi, twin gods of Samothrace, who were said to preside over the ecstatic rites of the mysteries of Demeter. They were originally triplets, but they murdered one of their own.

-Korybas, a god mentioned in the Orphic Hymns. His name is derived from the priests of Cybele, and he was said to take the form of a dark, wild dragon. He was also equated with Dionysus and the murdered brother of the Kabeiroi, who had his body covered in a purple cloth, wrapped in garlands, and carried off to the base of Olympus on a shield,
