RULES
BEFORE APPLYING
1. This group is 18+, no writer that is under 18 years old is allowed in the group.
2. We do not allow original characters (ocs)
3. Reservations last 48 hours and are meant to hold your desired characters for that time period. People will still be able to apply for these characters but until your reservation expires or we get an application from you, we will hold of on accepting applications for that character. Reservation deadlines can be extended with just a small dm to the admin!
4. Applications can be denied at the admin’s discretion, in the case that any information is missing or wrong, you will be messaged to resubmit or fix what is needed. If there is more than 1 application for a character, the one most promising will be accepted.
5. Make sure to check the banned list to see who is not allowed! Optional: Follow the Tumblr!
APPLICATION / CHARACTER GUIDELINES
1. All face claims must be 18+ years old and we will only be allowing musicians, actors or models. They must also be 5 years younger or older than the age of the character you are applying for. (This would be for physical age since some characters are meant to be much older than they look.)
2. Faceclaims are not optional. That means, if your character is animated/non-human in their source material like Groot, you will need to give them a human face and name.
3. All your characters are considered human here, so please do not refer to your characters as being from another planet or realm. So no gods, talking plants/animals, skrulls, etc.
4. We wish to accurately represent POC characters, therefore, despite Hollywood’s tendency to whitewash we will be asking you to use correct casting when choosing a faceclaim. In the instance that we make a mistake with a faceclaim, dm us first and we’ll try to resolve it.
5. Characters must be 18+, if you wish to write someone that is a minor in their source material but aged up, please discuss with an admin first.
6. You can have a total of 6 characters. You can join as two and then after a week of activity, you can apply for another. This is the same for any additional characters you wish to get in the future. Note that if we do get duplicate applications for the same character, please do take note that like reservations, if we find someone else’s application for the character more fitting to our group, we may give preference to them.
7. Reminder that this is an AU server, meaning that while your characters are going to be developing their powers here, they will not have the history of their movie/tv/comic counterparts. (See FAQ and About for more) Please do make sure to read the lore of the group before applying.
8. Children of other characters i.e. Next Avengers, Morgan Stark, Ellie Rogers, etc. are a bit of a grey area and require consent from the people who write the parents. Please ask/express your interest for applying for these characters first before sending an application.
ACTIVITY
1. We define activity as interactions you have as your characters. Therefore, if you choose to take up multiple characters, we expect you to be active and participating as all your characters in the server. If we don’t see activity on your characters we will be messaging you. You get two pokes/chances to boost your activity, if after you have been messaged a second time and still persist to be inactive, you or your character will be removed from the group.
2. If we have poked you about activity or are close to, we may deny any requests for additional characters.
3. We highly encourage group activities such as group chatting, plotting for large groups or participation in events! It is optional but does a great job at boosting up your activity score~
4. If you are in need of a hiatus or semi-hiatus then we have you covered! You can request one at any time, normally, hiatuses last about 2 weeks. If you wish to have an extension please feel free to talk to an admin about it!
5. Within your first week of joining we ask that you have your character’s profiles up and at least 1 active para thread going. Failure to do either can result in being booted from the roleplay.
6. Para threads that have been inactive for more than 1 week will be given a warning, if we see no activity for that thread after being warned then we will be closing it. You can request to re-open the thread after.
BEHAVIOR/ETIQUETTE
1. Triggers are extremely important to keep in mind when mentioning content that may affect someone’s enjoyment and comfort in the server. Anything that can be triggering to others must be marked with a spoiler and given a warning. There will be a triggers list inside the server with a tutorial explaining how spoilers and trigger warning work if needed.
2. Bubble rp is now allowed in the group, please try to reach out to everyone and make members feel welcome.
3. Any OOC conflict must be handled privately, if you are not able to resolve your problems with another member you can talk to an admin and we will try to find solutions/work with you to fix things. IC conflict is fine as long as it is plotted beforehand.
4. God-modding is not allowed in this group, therefore, please consult with writers before adding other characters in the server to your history or relationships. This will also apply towards characters that are not present in the server (unless they have a familial relationship like the Maximoff twins, Summers siblings, etc. )
5. NSFW content is prohibited in our server, mature themes can be touched on but anything explicit is to remain in your dms.
6. Let’s be kind and respectful to everyone! We do not want to see hate of any kind towards any character/ship!
CONTENT / SERVER
1. To keep the plot moving forward, we will try to have small events or themes in our group that will develop within that week. Participation in this type of para thread is optional but highly encouraged to progress your character in the group.
2. Feel free to play around with the paranormal/haunted aspect of the group! Your character saw a ghost? That’s okay! However, if you want to do a big plot that can affect the group please talk to an admin to get permission first.
3. Your characters will be developing/awakening their powers in this group, so please make sure to not go overboard with powers. Do not write overpowered characters, we know there are some incredibly strong characters in Marvel folklore but we ask that you be responsible with writing them and know when to tone them down/weaken them.
4. Bots are to be used in any character and are mandatory. Proper formatting is also a necessity. Only use bots for the characters you write.
5. For para threads, you don’t need to use gifs / icons but you can if you want. Proper punctuation/grammar is a must unless your character is on social media/texting.
6. When done with a plot please write [FINISHED] and tag an admin so we can open up the channel.
GENERAL
1. Let us know if you are leaving the server by just sending a message. It helps keep track of documentation and character availability.
2. You will be given 3 strikes/smacks on the hand. After the third strike you’re out of the server. If an offense is severe enough, the strike rule will be ignored and you will be removed immediately.
