It was a rainy evening when the waiter was walking home from his job, eager to get home, since the weather was chilling him to the bone. As he walked through the puddle-spotted streets, he heard a noise-- a very, very faint noise. Rein paused in his tracks, instinctively turning in the way of the sound he had heard. There is was again... But this time a bit louder. It sounded like some type of animal. Being mysophobic, the orphan didn’t exactly enjoy animals, but he followed the sound anyways until he came to a box laying in the middle of an alleyway with a blanket over it. Even though it made him dreadfully nervous to do so, Reinhardt pulled the blanket off to see what was inside.
It was a kitten, and even the server had to admit that it was pretty damn cute. However, it looked to be abandoned here, out in the cold and rain. As much as he may have wanted to, he knew that he couldn’t just leave it... But at the same time, thinking about the germs and dirt the animal may have on him made him feel flustered. Sighing, he picked up the box gingerly and thanked god that he had his white gloves on at this moment. Now, where to bring this guy? Certainly not to his own home. No, he needed to bring it somewhere else. The nearest building that seemed open at this time of the night looked like some type of bar, and it would have to do. At least one person would want to take him home, right?
Quietly and carefully, Reinhardt opened the door to the bar, immediately regretting his decision. Everyone in here looked like a gangster, or maybe the yakuza. A bright red blush appeared on his face as he walked up to the nearest person, looking a bit like an abandoned kitten himself as he did so, his silvery white hair wet around his face while he shivered a little.
“I-I... found him out in the rain and... What... What do I do?” he asked in a soft tone, obviously a bit flustered by this whole thing.
