KOULOUGHLI FLAG
There is currently no flag to represent those Algerians decended from Ottoman Turks. Here are my proposals. I favor the top flag for its simplicity and combination of Algerianess and Turkishness. Flags 3 and 4 borrow their design from Northern Cyprus but with the colors of the Algerian flag. Flags 2 and 5 use the turquoise color found in other Pan-Turkic flags, combined with the Arab green and red. The star and crescent of the Algerian national flag is itself influenced by Turkic symbolism and country’s Ottoman history.
