kouta actually didn't get jealous too easily! it's pretty difficult to do so actually given that he's not really the jealous type
he trusts you wholeheartedly, of course; and kouta knows that if someone tries to flirt with you or make some sort of advances, you'd have it totally under control. he's not even that much of a confrontational type anyway, cutely shy
(though admittedly, he is a bit naϊve at times so he may or may not know what even constitutes as flirting. yuu would totally tease him about it at times)
but when kouta does get jealous — usually when he's a bit touch starved — it's the shy and quiet sort. he'd hide it from you and try his very best to deny it, to stave off those stupid feelings
he doesn't like the feeling of being jealous, and kouta totally thinks it's stupid anyway. he feels a bit embarrassed, in a way. there's no reason to be jealous after all!
the way his heart beats a bit painfully and how he gets all antsy makes kouta a bit too uncomfortable for his liking. ugh, his school uniform feels too stuffy now too, he pouts
and although kouta tries to hide it, he's not exactly a secretive person. he wears his heart on his sleeve, and it's pretty clear to everyone — including his friends and you — that he's jealous
he can deny it all he wants, but the way kouta is staring at the guy talking you up during free period, playing with the cuffs of his sleeves, is too obvious
yuu can't help but tease him about it, though shunsuke bluntly tells him to just confess his jealously to you (to which kouta absolutely refuses and even tries to deny he's even jealous. again, not convincing whatsoever)
but with some sage advice(?) and some hype from yuu who continues to egg him on, kouta decides to tell you so anyway. he can't really handle the twisted feeling in his chest anymore, and kouta feels himself getting more jealous the longer he watched you and the guy
he knows that it's nothing! but kouta will now admit, he was totally jealous of the proximity between you and the guy now during free period
"um, sweetheart.." kouta's voice is shy and comes out small, but it's still enough for you to hear. he sees as you turn around, quirking your head cutely to the side; it makes him flush all the more. kouta can't help but hide behind the homework he had brought, to avert his gaze from yours and stutter out his words. this was oh so flustering for him to admit after all.
"yes, kouta?" you turn around in your seat, waving goodbye to your classmate who you were just tutoring in japanese. it was free period after all, and there wasn't much else to do; besides, he had asked you for help beforehand anyway. but now that kouta had appeared, your attention is all on him.your boyfriend is all flushed pink and cute.
"um, could you.." kouta looks behind him for a few seconds, and he sees as yuu grins and motions for him to continue. it does make kouta all the more warm, but he does gather up the courage to blurt it out. "could you..help me out with the japanese homework too?"
it's all too clear what's going on. you raise your brow, watching as your shy boyfriend holds his paper a bit too tight, crinkling it. and you look behind him, noticing how his friends are watching with such interest and spark. ah, kouta is jealous, you tut. it's easy to tell, especially with the way he holds the paper way too close to his lips and how kouta closes his eyes, as if preparing for rejection.
kouta was an open book: too easy to read. but it's also totally cute, you can't help but think, giggling a bit seeing how shy kouta was at the moment. y'know, it was a bit adorable that someone as shy as kouta even got jealous in the first place.
"of course, sweetie!" kouta gets even more warm at your words, and the pink tinting his cheeks brightens. well...he certainly didn't expect that (ok he didn't know what to expect). he gets all too flustered, and you can't help but smile at him really. gosh, jealous kouta really was a cutie, you think. you wouldn't tease him for being jealous now though...not here, at least. you think kouta would combust right here right now if you did so anyway, and you still need him until the end of the school day. "so, what do you need help on?"
ah, this was too embarrassing, kouta thinks, but he's all the more content still. the knot in his heart seems to have went away, and he relaxes his shoulders. even as warm as he felt, being tutored by you amidst free period, kouta was still pretty happy with the outcome. yeah, he didn't actually need any help, but that was irrelevant. kouta now got to spend time with you instead of that other guy, and that made him feel better. he sighs, a content smile on his lips.
man, jealously really was a disease, kouta thinks. he had to try harder to not get jealous again.

you once won kouta a pompompurin plushie from a claw machine during a date, and it's one of his most prized possessions (next to the plush from his grandma). kouta likes to sleep with it each night, cute smile on his lips, as he drifts off to sleep thinking about you.
honestly, he had a tendency of cuddling with that plush each time kouta was missing you as well; after all, it was a gift from you, and whenever kouta looked at it, he envisioned your adorable smile as you gifted him it. it reminded him a lot of you and brought him a lot of comfort whenever kouta was dealing with a lot. he'd never let you find out though; kouta think that'd be mega embarrassing.
(he also keeps it in a safe space hidden away when not at home so that his mom didn't accidentally throw it away as well)

You breathed a sigh of relief as you entered Kouta’s room with him by your side, dodging the questions rapidly fired at the both of you by his mother. She meant well, but Kouta was pretty embarrassed to have her ask all these questions, and you didn’t know how to answer them all.
You weren’t dating, just really close friends, but that didn’t stop the questions from literally everybody asking if you were a couple yet. To be fair, there were a few reasons as to why they assumed so.
You two were almost inseparable and were always seen together, not to mention your mutual love for Sanrio characters, along with the rest of your friend group. But the rumors were quite annoying, and to be frank, you were both sick of it. Upon entering his room, Kouta hurriedly shut the door with a sigh as he turned to you with a goofy smile.
“We made it!” You had to laugh at his stupid little ploy. “Yup!” Locking the door, Kouta went to sit on the side of his bed, towards the foot of it. “So, uh, what do you wanna do?”
You nervously put your hand up to your neck to proclaim simply, “I don’t know. I hadn’t really thought that far ahead.” Kouta had invited you to stay for the evening on a whim, so it was to be expected that you hadn’t thought of anything. Kouta giggled as he sat back on his hands. “Maybe we could play some video games or something? Oh, but then we’d have to go back downstairs.” You smiled at his suggestion as you came to sit on his bed next to him. “Well, I know for a fact that going back downstairs seems like a bad idea.”
A little too suddenly, a thought popped into your head, and it was just itching to get out. After mulling over it for around half a second, it seemed like it was an okay idea to let loose, you thought, as you blurted out a “Cuddling?” Kouta’s expression shifted to one of shock in a split second. “I’m sorry, what?” “Cuddling?” you repeated, a little more sheepishly.
Realizing what you had said, you nervously flailed your arms around in embarrassment as you rambled on and on in a flurry of stress. “I mean, if you don’t want to we don’t have to, I was just saying that it might be nice and that it’s dumb that people think it’s only for lovers and-” “Sounds like a plan!” Your long string of run-on words was cut off by a blushing Kouta, a smile on his face.
“I don’t mind if you want to do that! It could be fun, who knows?” Your entire body relaxed at his statement as you gazed into his eyes, a satisfied grin on your face.
“Okay then, uh, here.” you simply stated, wrapping your arms around him. Due to your position, you couldn’t see Kouta’s eyes widen before he closed them with a smile on his face as he held you.
You couldn’t remember the last time you felt like this. Hugs from family were always uncomfortable for you, and friend hugs usually didn’t last this long or feel this safe. You felt as if you were free. Free to do whatever you needed, free to say whatever without being judged, and most importantly, free to feel loved.
Platonic love isn’t something that is usually thought about. You’re not usually supposed to be vulnerable around friends. You aren’t supposed to tell your worries to your friends. There were too many rules, and it was annoying. Couldn’t you just love your friends as much as a lover? The only difference is that you aren’t tied together. You weren’t obliged to talk. You didn’t have to spend every day together. You enjoyed the freedoms of friendship, but also the joy of being a bit touchy with a lover. Why not have both?
Your long thought jumble was quickly interrupted by a soft “mmn” from Kouta as he squeezed you closer to him, prompting you to do the same. You smiled against his shoulder, happy he was okay with you doing this. You wanted this feeling to never go away, you thought, as you drew random circles and squiggles on Kouta’s back, forcing another giggle out of him.
It made him ecstatic that you wanted to be a little touchy with him. He usually was not the type to touch or talk first, but once he was comfortable, he was usually the more touchy person in a relationship.
After a few minutes of holding each other close, Kouta was the first to let go. As he did so, he drew a line across your body with his fingertips starting from your shoulder, tracing down your back, sliding down your arms, then he placed his hands in yours as he compassionately looked into your eyes. You lazily looked back at him with the same amount of joy and euphoria as he held your hands, rubbing his thumbs against the backs of them. “Let’s just be a little lazy here, okay?” “Okay.” you mumbled in response. Kouta swung his legs over the side of the bed to lie on his side, leaving room for you to do the same.
You followed suit of Kouta and almost immediately you were met with a pair of welcoming arms around your waist. In response, you placed your own arms on top of his shoulders, happily burying your face into Kouta’s chest. You felt it shake as Kouta laughed at your, admittedly cute, behavior. To combat your face in his chest, he nuzzled his nose into your hair, tickling you. You could feel his lips against your scalp as they curled into a soft smile as he whispered into your hair.
“Thank you for being here. You make me really happy, you know that?” The shivers that ran down your spine were probably the best thing you had felt in your life. He really was one of the kindest people you had met, and it was rare to find a truly kind person in this cruel world. Peeling your face from his chest to look into his eyes, you started a softly spoken response. “I can only say the same to you. You’ve done so much for me that you couldn’t even begin to fathom how much I love your company.”
It was Kouta’s turn to be the nervous mess as he pulled you into his embrace once more, unable to look you in the eye. It was only then did you realize you could hear Kouta’s heartbeat. It was racing, but evened out after a few moments. You were amazed to think that it was you who made that happen.
It was childish, but you wanted to see if you could make it beat faster again. Dragging your face from Kouta’s chest once more, you pulled your face up to his to rub your noses together, then pulled away from him to rest your head on the pillow, waiting to see his reaction. To put it simply, you had broken him. His entire face was red with his mouth hanging open in shock. You had to laugh.
“Pfff- you good there, buddy?” Kouta’s response came out in choppy pieces as he tried to articulate his words. “What- what was- that?” Your teasing smile became even wider at his clumsy reply. “I just rubbed my nose on yours! I mean, it’s not like I kissed you or anything!” Kouta was still silent, not sure what to say to that.
He didn’t care if it was a kiss or not, having your face so close to his was not something he experienced before. And yet, he liked it. Again, he had no romantic feelings toward you, and you didn’t have any towards him, it was just all in good fun and it made you both happy.
Kouta finally fixed himself after being broken for so long, beaming at you with the kindest look in his amber eyes, making your insides flip around in circles, nerves and joy getting the best of you. Finally, Kouta spoke in a normal tone.
“You have quite the sparkle, you know that?” You gave him a joyful grin in response. “All I can say here is same to you. You shine a lot compared to others, and I like it.”
Your voices were low as you continued to speak about random subjects, snuggled close to one another, and overall having the time of your lives. You never, ever, wanted to go home.

Kouta’s absolute favorite thing that you do is quite simple, actually: hold him. In all honesty, he’s a bit of a touch-starved boy, even as shy and flustered as he got; so kouta absolutely lives for any form of physical affection. holding hands, pinching his cheeks, chaste forehead kisses, cuddles — they were all his favorite. as long as kouta was able to feel you, to hold you so close, he was alright.
your touch was simply so warm and loving; kouta couldn’t help but fall in love! when you intertwine hands or snuggle into him on the couch, he can feel his heart accelerate so quick. it skips a beat, but the feeling is..good. kouta flushes warm as you hold him, but there’s a sweet smile on his lips. you’re so comforting and warm, just like pompompurin, and kouta easily relaxes under your touch.
kouta is most definitely the touchy type, so just give him all the physical affection, and he’ll be a happy pup!

Kouta absolutely adores spending time with you alone, whether it's cuddling while watching a cheesy romcom underneath warm blankets or eating lunch together at the same table. He loves loves loves your presence really! It's so inviting and comforting; it felt like home, a place where he can be safe and sound. To him, there was no better place other than your arms.
So when things start to get a bit stale or boring perhaps, Kouta suggests spending more alone time together, so intimate - though not too much - and cozy; it's the little moments in life that count after all! Plus, with school and everything else going on, rarely did the two of you have the chance to simply relax and rewind together, finding comfort in one another. It was, well, perfect. Being able to cuddle one another close, quiet save for the beating of each other's hearts (which could surely be heard) and your guys' breathing, I'm sure it's also a bonding moment somewhat. It feels rather deep and close somewhat to be able to hear the other's heart rate or breathing patterns, things that went unnoticed in day-to-day life. It wasn't as if it was anything too big, but ah, hearing kouta's heart beat as you lay on his chest, slightly shy as you pick up it's a tad bit faster than usual because of you specifically, it certainly did deepen your guys' bond, the two of you as close as ever (literally and metaphorically that is).
It may seem a bit cliché, perhaps, but simply cuddling one another and being so close in such a quiet environment certainly does spice up the relationship in a way. It makes Kouta realize even more just how utterly in love with you he was. There was no other sound that was as beautiful as your heart beat, no other warmth as comforting as your arms.

Ah Shunsuke is a bit tricky given that he's not much of an outwardly affectionate person. He' stoic and usually remained quiet and composed, saying a few words here and there. To others, it seems to be quite the mystery as to how the two of you got into a relationship. But Shunsuke surely loves you and finds you interesting! Even when you guys have completely different interests, you two get along so well, able to read each other's minds. And Shunsuke does love learning more about you, finding himself more and more in awe and in love with you.
To spice up the relationship, I think Shunsuke would try out some of your interests or hobbies with you, even when he struggles a little at first, brows furrowed as he figures out exactly how to do this thing! You giggle at how adorable he is and show him of course, so Shunsuke is certainly fascinated by how much you seemed to enjoy this hobby, loving the way you smiled or the excitement that shown through, a blush prominent on his cheeks. It's...cute, watching how much fun you were having. Shunsuke indeed loved it; there was nothing better than doing things with you, in his mind since it was so much fun. Even if you're a little surprised when Shunsuke awkwardly asks if he can watch or work with you given how not talkative he is, you certainly do end up enjoying how engrossed Shunsuke becomes (if only to impress you and watch the sheer joy on your face, his favorite). And Shunsuke invites you as well, teaching you how to play soccer and perhaps finding it quite amusing if you mess up (ah you were so cute).

He definitely enjoys going places, whether it's the usual trip to Puroland or even around the block to the grocery store; Seiichiro very much enjoys going out and tasting the fresh air. As someone so diligent and studious, he often finds himself trapped in his room, back bent over and eyes scanning another textbook for the umpteenth time. It was all so tiring. And sightseeing, well, I can surely see it as one of his hobbies.
So Seiichiro loves nothing more than going out to new places and exploring them with me, from hiking up a mountain trail to watching the cherry blossoms bloom in that one infamous park for it. There was nothing better than walking through places hand-in-hand together and discovering new sights, perhaps even a new favorite picnic sight for the two of you. Being able to share such beautiful sights together, amazed by nature itself, it felt so good actually. And Seiichiro absolutely loved the look of amazement in your eyes, the starstruck gaze you had as you observed such places. To him, your excitment and fascination was the cutest; it was more beautiful than any sights he'd seen, as cheesy as that sounded. And being able to witness them together was surely a blessing, in Seiichiro's mind anyway. There was nothing quite like the peaceful stillness, walking hand-in-hand and pointing out wonderful structures that were so pretty.
Exploring the world together, even when it was just right around the block, made the two of you much closer honestly, and the time spent together was very much enjoyable. It did make the relationship a little more exciting.

Admittedly, Kouta gets excited over the littlest things. It could be from a simple peck on the cheek, a greeting his s/o may give him from time-to-time, or it could be because of that great two-for-one deal on yakisoba at the local convenience store. Whatever it was, Kouta's eyes light up, stars evident in his irises, and there's definitely a wide smile on his face, something that came involuntarily.
But what excites him the most, however, is honestly any form of physical affection. It may seem a bit cliché perhaps, but Kouta himself wasn't quite used to physical affection, especially not the rather endearing type such as sweet kisses on the lips or holding hands while strolling down the city street. The way his s/o's hand felt against his, the warmth they emanated when cuddled up against him, breath light as they fell into a short nap against his chest; it was pretty obvious the way he flushed a bright red or how his heart skipped a beat. Yet, it felt so good, and whenever the Kouta felt your hand in his, how perfectly they fit together, he couldn't help the way he got all excited. It felt so warm and inviting, so loving. And for someone that was often touch-starved and shy and perhaps not too sure of himself, it excited Kouta to no end whenever he was on the recipient of such affection. The skipping of his heart beat and the flushing of his face, while perhaps embarrassing, also felt rather good and exciting in a way.
Yuu Mizuno
peppermint tea; what do they get excited about?
Yuu seemed to be a pretty simple-minded fellow at times, where seemingly everything excited him. It was difficult to tell whether that smile he always had on or the energy he had in excess was a result of his excitement or just how he was. To everyone, it seemed that anything could excite Yuu, who was admittedly over-the-top at times, especially when it came to reactions. You could give him your leftover untouched lunch, saying how you're already quite full or simply wanted to share, and Yuu would get excited and happily accept it from you.
Really though, what he gets particularly excited at compliments or, more simply put, validation. Yuu usually was the one had to bear all the responsibilities and chores back home, whether it was buying groceries to doing laundry to looking out for his little sister. And, usually, he felt as if his efforts went unnoticed, especially considering the fact that his relationship with his sister was a bit rocky as of late. It was all too tiring. So whenever Yuu received compliments from his friends or family or s/o, whenever he felt like he was being recognized for something, even if it was as small and meager as how well-groomed his uniform and hair looked that day. Yuu did so much for those he loved, and often, he felt as if they went unnoticed as well. So when he's being repaid, when he's taken care of for a change, such as his s/o commenting on how much of a good brother he was or how cute he looked today, Yuu, of course, got all excited and couldn't calm his racing heart. It felt so good to be validated! To have all his doubts quelled!! Ahh, he got so happy and simply couldn't stay put anymore, clinging himself on to you and secretly wanting to hear more compliments. He'd even repeat the things that visibly made you or his friends happy since that, to him, was one of the greatest things. For instance, if you were to compliment him on a certain dish, telling him how divine it was, well, he's going to start making that dish a lot more. A lot more. Really, Yuu just wanted to hear from others that he was doing an alright job.
Seiichiro Minamoto
peppermint tea; what do they get excited about?
Seiichiro, in short, didn't have many things that made him too excited. Aside from cinnamoroll, which was partically a given, there weren't many things he could indulge in given his busy, busy schedule. I mean, Seiichiro woke up early, had to get ready for school, get there way before the first bell rung in order to look over yesterday's requests from the students, as well as tidy up everything and get ready for class, not to mention finishing up any remaining homework. And that was only the morning schedule.
So he doesn't have much time to do things that do get him excited or hobbies he enjoys, but even then, Seiichiro gets most excited over small things that are quite meaningful to him. For instance, hitting bullseye in his archery competition up against the other school, when all eyes were on him and his focus was waning. That was the best feeling, and that adrenaline boost he got surely made him get all excited, given by that small triumphant smirk he did and tiny fist bump, which was perhaps somewhat out of character for him but definitely showed his excitement. And if his s/o showed up, cheering him on from the sidelines, then Seiichiro only got even more excited knowing that you had come to see him. That congratulations kiss afterwards surely did get his heart racing as well. It certainly did make him happy, and he was only even more determined to win again next time. Seiichiro also usually got excited whenever he was out with friends or his s/o. They usually had him try something new, whether it was a new restaurant or a place he'd never been to before. It may have been small and inconsequential for many, but it was always exciting for Seiichiro, who never knew where they were going or what they were going to do. It was always some type of adventure with them.

admittedly, he was a bit hesitant to go when you first suggested the idea of a beach date given how easily he burnt in the sun, though he quickly gave in once he saw how excited you were
a beach date did sound quite fun for a day off even if he was sure to melt in the heat. at least you guys could play in the ocean which was bound to cool you off
plus, the thought of seeing you in a swimsuit made him experience heart palpitations right then and there. needless to say, he became more excited about the date the more he thought about it
i can see kouta being a bit too cautious of sunburns since they were quite painful and nasty, so he definitely lathers up on sunscreen given his tendency to burn, and he most likely does the same to you
much of the date is spent in the shade, underneath the umbrella you two had propped up in the sand, just happy to be in each other’s presence. the long week had been rather tiring, and this date was the perfect way to rewind and relax
i don’t think kouta was a big fan of beaches in general. the sand got everywhere; the sun showed no mercy; and the feeling of having wet sand stuck to your feet surely was uncomfortable
but even then, as long as he was with those he loved, kouta did find himself looking forward to spending some time on the beach
the first thing you guys do after setting up your area is pretty much just sit down and enjoy the salty ocean breeze. there was something about the calm atmosphere of the beach and the rhythmic rocking of the waves with you by his side that kouta adored
sure, you guys have had your fair share of dates before, such as a nice stroll through the park or having a picnic underneath the cherry blossoms, but the beach was certainly different in a sense
this was also kouta’s chance to laze around, and add the warmth of the sun into the mixture, and he’s pretty much sluggish, wanting to do nothing but spend time next to you in the shade
so for most of the date, you guys are watching the waves or simply talking to one another about who knows what. and the time spent in silence, the two of you simply relished in the other’s touch and proximity
(he might even find himself falling asleep as he lay in your lap and as you played with his hair)
once the sun is lower in the sky, and it’s a little bit cooler, you and kouta take a stroll around the beach as well, hand-in-hand and enjoying the view
this was one of his favorite moments of any beach date. the sunset with all its colors looked so pretty as it set upon the waves, and he was spending it with his lovely partner. there really was nothing better
the sense of intimacy that was there, and the way you looked so beautiful with the sunlight illuminating your features, well, it was of no surprise that kouta found it in himself to slowly kiss you
(definitely freaks out afterwards and apologizes for abruptly kissing you, not sure as to what had come over him. you don’t mind and think it’s quite adorable, actually)
at the end of the date, you guys stop for ice cream and enjoy it on the beach once more before it was time to head back home. it was a nice treat to cool down after the rather hot and humid day, and besides, ice cream paired with the setting sun was simply amazing
even if the date was overall pretty slow, with you guys spending most of it underneath the shade, sluggish from not only the heat but each other’s touch, it was still a rather enjoyable date
kouta was quite fond of beaches afterwards, certainly open to the idea of another beach date in the future

he was most likely the one to even suggest the idea of a beach date in the first place
yuu loved the beach. to him, it was nothing but good vibes and a way for him to rewind and relax. he’s always been worked to the bone between studying for school and taking care of both the house and his sister, and a beach date with his lovely s/o was just the remedy
and when you agree, yuu’s pretty much already making plans for what you guys would be doing at the beach
after immediately setting things up upon arrival, yuu is going straight to the water. the ocean was his favorite part about the beach i like to think, and given the heat, there was no better way to cool off
he’s so excited that he may even forget to put sunscreen on. it’s been a long time since he’d been at the beach, so the moment yuu saw the ocean and felt that breeze on his face that he missed oh so much, he’s just so excited
“yuu, you forgot sunscreen”
“oh, yeah”
he sheepishly rubbed the back of his neck while you sighed and put it on for him, though you couldn’t help but find his excitement rather adorable. it may have rubbed off on you a tiny bit as well
yuu pretty much drags you to play in the water with him, wanting to have some fun and play around with you as well
he’s quick to splash you, which takes you by surprise and has you splashing him back in retaliation. from then on, it pretty much becomes the two of you splashing the other with water or trying to catch the other off-guard. it was a mini war that yuu had started, and both of you wanted to win
it’s so fun playing in the water with yuu, having lost any sense of time you may have had. it’s filled with lots of laugh and giggles and many slips and falls due to how slippery the wet sand felt
he definitely falls into the water on more than one occasion, grabbing you each time and dragging you down with him. sure you may have been a bit annoyed, but that all dissipated when you came up and saw just how dripping wet yuu looked, simply laughing at what had just occurred
i can see yuu taking this chance to quickly peck your lips. between how how his heart fluttered upon hearing your laugh and how attractive you looked right this instant, yuu couldn’t help but kiss you, catching you off guard
seriously, was he trying to give you a mini heart attack? but well, it was certainly nice
much of the time is spent playing in the water, and you have to drag him out so that he’d take a break and eat the lunch the two of you had prepared beforehand
(while drying and changing shirts, yuu accidentally wears yours and you wear his, though he loves it too much to change. so yes, you guys wear each other’s shirts, which may have flustered you at first)
you guys most definitely have a picnic on the beach as well, enjoying the view and chatting with one another while you munched on the lunch you both prepared the day before
yuu was certainly a great cook, but the fact that you had helped him on this in particular only made it taste better in his eyes
between the cool breeze, the beautiful view of the ocean, the good food, and your presence, this was one of yuu’s favorite picnic in a long time
afterwards, you guys relax in the sand for a while, hanging out and feeling a lot more sluggish due to your full stomach. even if it was silent, it was still nice
sometimes, slow was everything
towards the end of the date, you and yuu pretty much spend it snuggling one another while watching the sun set beyond the waves. it was quite romantic and the perfect end to the date
cuddling you as day turned into night, watching as the stars started to dot the sky. yuu couldn’t have asked for anything better

you probably had to convince ryo to even think about going on a beach date given how opposed to the idea he was at first
it wasn’t that he didn’t love the beach; in fact, he did adore it. but considering how hot it was this summer and how easily he burned given his pale complexion, ryo simply found the comfort of his air-conditioned room to be more desirable
but, well, you did present some valid points. for one, the ocean was sure to cool him off; and secondly, he’d be able to hang out with you all day, away from everyone else
those all sounded rather tempting, especially that last point; and thus, ryo was preparing for your guys’ trip to the beach
ryo is the first one to put on sunscreen, probably in obscene amounts as well, and he lathers you with it as well
i think that ryo is pretty conscious of his appearance in general, so he’s careful to not get sunburnt given how painful they could be. of course, he didn’t want you to get a bad burn as well, but he simply veils it as him not wanting to deal with your whines if you do end up getting a burn
the flushed look on his face and the way he averted his gaze told you otherwise
i presume that ryo wasn’t that big a fan of going in the water and getting all wet. sure it would’ve helped cool him off, but he wasn’t keen on changing amidst the beach
so most of the time you guys are sitting in the shade and simply enjoying other’s company, ryo not wanting to leave your side
considering how he lived in a pretty full household and pretty much had no privacy, ryo was happy that he finally got some alone time with you, and thus, he may seem more clingy than usual
he really wanted to spend time with you before you guys had to head back home, so ryo will always be by your side at the beach (plus, it was a new beach that you had dragged him to, and ryo had no idea where anything was)
you guys start by playing in the sand and building sandcastles, though you pretty much had to encourage ryo that it was fine since he seemed embarrassed by it
he loved building sandcastles, and he did want to do so, but the thought of it was so childish, at least in his mind. and since ryo was conscious of how he looked, he was hesitant at first
but when he saw you starting to build one and even asking him to join you, well, ryo thought that perhaps it’d be fine after all
definitely has an urge to build a better sandcastle than you, if only to impress. he ends up having a bit of trouble and begrudgingly asks you for help (it was never a competition, but seeing ryo’s competitive nature was cute)
as hesitant as ryo was at getting into the water, he does agree to at the very least dip his feet in it and simply feel the cool water on his skin
the sensation of the squishy sand in between his toes was a bit gross for him, but it was also somewhat nice? he really couldn’t explain it
but he really did enjoy the fact that you were by his side right now. even if the beating sun was terrible, ryo did love the feeling of you sitting right by him now, feet in the water and hands intertwined. the fact that it was just the two of you alone made him giddy
as the sun began to set, you guys brought out the watermelon you had cut up beforehand and ate it by the shore
there was nothing better to ryo than the sweet taste of the melon combined with the stunning sunset and you by his side. to him, it was the perfect end to the day. in a way, he never did want this scene to end, wanting to live in it
as the two of you were packing up and getting ready to head home, ryo was overcome with emotion. today had really been an awesome day all thanks to your idea, and he was able to spend it with the person he loved and held close to his heart
and so, seemingly out of the blue, ryo gathered the courage to kiss you, though he immediately turned around and entered the car the moment you two separated, not wanting you to see just how red he was at the moment
you were certainly taken aback at how your awkward boyfriend had kissed you without warning, but it was definitely like him. ryo really was adorable, as much as he tried to deny it
perhaps beach dates should be a more often occurrence

so the two of you would start to grow close, even if it was slow at first, and one thing led to another and the two of you eventually developed feelings for one another and confessed
i feel like kouta would be quite surprised at first when he saw just how sweet you were when the two of you began dating. it wasn’t in a bad way, however. kouta was simply used to your cold nature that you often exhibited around everyone else
seeing how quick you were to break out into a smile and skip by his side whenever you saw him gave kouta and the others around you a bit of whiplash
he did understand where you were coming from though. kouta himself was pretty shy and introverted and didn’t talk with others much, so he definitely understood why you wouldn’t necessarily want to be around others
he figured that you may have been shy or didn’t like to open up to merely anyone; however, it often came off as you being cold and distant from others
there was also something about the fact that you were only sweet and showed affection to him that made his heart race. call him selfish but kouta adored the fact that he was the only one that got to see your true side
not only did it make him feel loved, but kouta was sure he fell in love with you even more

however, the two of you soon began to develop feelings for one another due to the fact that you’ve spent so much time together (all thanks to yuu)
when you first show affection and act all sweet towards him, yuu’s first instinct is to tease you, although he’s very much happy with the fact that his efforts paid off
although he tries to tease you, you can’t help but notice just how flustered he seems to be
has no shame in admitting that he absolutely adores the fact that you only ever are sweet to him. yuu couldn’t help but want to keep you all to himself, especially with how cute you were
as such, he often finds himself ditching groups and others in order to spend much more time with you, though you don’t mind at all
yuu couldn’t get enough of your affection and always craved more (i do think that he is a bit touch starved at times and yearns for comfort)

since the two of you had quite a bit in common, you began to hang out much more often, even if it was doing work or reading a book in silence. it felt nice to have one another’s company
when you both get closer to one another and eventually begin dating, shunsuke is mildly taken aback by how affectionate and sweet you’ve become
it was like you were an entirely different person, though he definitely loved it
he would soon begin to realize that you were merely showing him your true self since you felt so comfortable and safe around him, and that fact in and of itself would fluster shunsuke
sure, since he was quiet it was easy for people to talk to him about anything since often times they wanted someone who would just listen, but he never once thought that someone would open up and be vulnerable to him
thus, even though he absolutely adores you and your sweet nature, shunsuke couldn’t help but get flustered everytime the two of you were alone, which surprised even himself
plus, he wasn’t really used to physical affection that much. sure his friend yuu was a bit clingy and touchy at times, but that was much different. one instance was where his friend was trying to get his attention, and the other was with his s/o
honestly, shunsuke would try his best to start showing his emotions much more around you as well
not only did he not want you to get the wrong idea and assume that he hated your affection (quite opposite really. shunsuke lived for it), but shunsuke also felt comfortable trying with someone who was cold to others just like him

ryo is rather similar in a sense in that he’d rather keep to himself unless he’s really close with someone
so i think that he’d be thrilled to find someone similar to him because it made ryo feel validated in a way. like yes, he wasn’t weird and it was completely fine of him to not entirely be fond of others from the get go
the same could be said about you if you were insecure about the fact that you couldn’t open up to others easily. communicating was so difficult to you, yet others made it look so easy. it made you feel less about yourself, but having ryo by your side made you know that you weren’t alone
at first, ryo would keep his distance from you as well although that’s also because of his own awkward personality (he wouldn’t admit it, but you were also somewhat terrifying by how cold you seemed)
however, since the two of you were on the library committee together, you both found yourself often in each other’s company, shelving away books or returning overdue ones that students finally found in the bottom of their locker
it first started when you were reading one of his favorite series, and ryo couldn’t resist the urge to point it out and tell you just how great it was
after that incident, the rest was history, and the two of you soon grew close as you chatted about your favorite series, hobbies, etc.
he wouldn’t really question the fact that you had suddenly become much more sweet and caring around him since ryo truly thought that it was perfectly normal for someone to hide themselves around most people
in fact, you may also be a bit surprised at just how sweet ryo could be himself since he was rather awkward and quiet when the two of you first met

so ofc, seiichiro made it a responsibility of his to try and get along with you when you came to him with a question about joining the student council
he automatically realizes how you seem to close yourself off from others and how you don’t really talk much. it did bother him a bit but only because he wanted to be someone that others could talk to and depend on
over time, you find yourself spending more time with seiichiro, whether that be cleaning up the classroom together at the end of the day or him trying to sit down and have lunch with you
he manages to establish a trusting bond between you, and you soon find yourself gradually warming up to him and hanging out with him outside of school even
he became a good friend of yours and soon boyfriend when the two of you confessed that you had feelings for one another
seiichiro isn’t all too surprised that you were actually a sweetheart on the inside given that the two of you took time to get to know each other
from all of your interactions and conversations and how you opened up to him, he knew that you were just someone that was careful around others. you only wanted those that truly cared for you to be around
he knew firsthand how intimidating he may seem, so seiichiro is always trying his best to seem approachable. he understands that you’re distant to those that you don’t really know and doesn’t see it as a problem
he loves to receive your affection especially, although he is equally as good at giving it out as well. there was nothing he loved more than to cuddle up in your arms after a long, tiring day at school
since you’re not too fond of others, seiichiro is careful to drag you into conversation that you may not like. he really didn’t want to make you uncomfortable
if you so desired, he’d also spend a lot of time with just the two of you alone during breaks. often times the other student council members think he’s working (which he is don’t get me wrong), but in reality, he was hanging out with you as the two of you chatted about your day
he really didn’t see your cold, distant nature as much as a problem since he naturally assumed that you’d warm up to those that you loved, and it was something that you were quite grateful for
Mornings with Kouta were rather normal and somewhat slow and quiet. He tended to be an early bird, waking up at a decent time and getting ready quickly. It wasn't that Kouta liked to get up early; rather, it was just what his internal clock was set to. And if you were someone that liked to sleep in until much later, well, it'd throw off Kouta a bit since he never did like to get up without you. Your warm embrace was simply too warm and inviting for him to leave it, especially in the cold winter mornings where he'd surely start shivering if he left the comfort of the bed.
Early morning cuddling sessions were quite common, and Kouta thought that it was a great start to his day, even if he did have to stay in bed longer. You looked so adorable still half-asleep, mumbling incoherent words and snuggling in closer to him, not wanting him to leave just yet. And Kouta adored every minute of it, as red as he got. Those five more minutes then turned to thirty and so on and so forth, and you guys wouldn't leave bed until late morning given how neither one of you wanted to leave the bed or the other's embrace.

Kouta always gets quite nervous and anxious each and every time either you or him leans in for a kiss, and it shows through in his kisses. He's always slightly tense at first, which you can tell, so the kiss may be a bit sloppy or a little rough at first since his mind is elsewhere, trying his best to calm himself. The mere thought of the two of you being so close and intimate, even if it was a short and sweet forehead or cheek kiss, made him short-circuit, always so shy at the slightest touch. It wasn't something he was used to. When you kiss back though, he instantly relaxes, and the kiss turns into something much sweeter and tender. In a way, it's quite the innocent kiss, just a simple romantic kiss on the lips. And if it was a deeper kiss (still just as sweet), then Kouta loved to take his hand and cup your cheek with it, an action that left a rather electrifying sensation on your skin, one that only made your senses that much more sensitive to every little thing. It still felt so good though.
Yuu Mizuno
lemon tea; what are mornings like with them?
Yuu, while very much capable of staying in bed until noon when given the chance, was still an early bird in a way. He usually got up early in order to take care of things while his parents are gone and to get a headstart on chores, as much as it pains him to get up at the crack of dawn. He's still rather tired and quite sleepy. So even when the two of you were sleeping together on the same bed, huddled in close (Yuu loved to be the big spoon despite your height and simply sleep with your back against his chest, his arms loosely wrapped around your waist), he'd still get up early, though he'd leave you sleeping for a little bit more. If you whine and tug on his sleeve, wanting him to stay for just a bit longer, Yuu would simply giggle at how cute you were but comply nonetheless. He himself was still rather sleepy, so he'd lay in bed with you for a few more minutes, before getting up for good. This was a cycle that repeated almost every day, though Yuu would sleep in later on the weekends, and this time around, you wouldn't be able to escape his tight grip on you (if you wanted to get up early, tough luck then. Yuu rarely got the chance to sleep in, especially with you in his arms).
Yuu is usually the one that makes breakfast since he gets up before you, always trying out new recipes or making foods that you wouldn't have time to eat if you were in a rush. But that's the thing: Yuu loved to spend time with you in the morning before you guys had to go out and do your work for the day. Eating breakfast with you and seeing your delighted face at how good everything tasted was one of his favorite parts of the day. So you can definitely expect to be woken up early by Yuu, who'd want you to get a headstart on your day and so that you guys can enjoy a nice, full breakfast together.

Yuu's kisses can best be described as lingering. Each time, whether it be an intimate kiss on the lips or a quick peck on the cheeks, there was always a sort of sensation left behind, as if you could still feel his lips on you even after the fact. He may be goofy at times, and Yuu definitely does love teasing you in his kisses by kissing you everywhere - the cheeks, forehead, corner of your lips, nose, etc. - before wiping your pout by finally capturing your lips in the most tender of kisses. They somehow managed to fluster you each time, despite being used to his antics, more so when Yuu pulled back and grinned in a cheshire-like way, finding much amusement in teasing you. But his kisses are also rather fluttery in a sense, in that Yuu, at times, loved to cover you in nothing but short yet consecutive kisses, especially when you guys were alone and in a playful mood. And even then, his kisses left you feeling flushed, the warmth rushing to your face just from how sweet they were.
Seiichiro Minamoto

Seiichiro is most definitely the type to get up super early in the morning, perhaps even at the brink of dawn. And since he believed the infamous quote, "the early bird gets the worm," you can certainly expect him to wake you up early as well, despite your pleas. He simply believed it'd be much better for you if you did have a healthy sleep schedule (Seiichiro would also encourage you to go to bed earlier despite the fact he doesn't do so) since Seiichiro did care a lot for you. He simply wanted to try and be the best partner for you imagineable by showing how much he cared for your wellbeing. If you were rather tired, however, not able to sleep well from the previous night, then Seiichiro would leave you be and get ready himself before waking you. He did want you to get adequate rest as well.
But when he does wake you up, Seiichiro won't relent if you try your best to ignore him, begging for just five more minutes or pulling the covers over your head. He'd simply stand there and in a stern voice would tell you to get up until, finally, you did. At times, however, especially on the weekends, you'd successfully drag him back into bed if he ever tried to get up before ten, telling him that he deserved to rest as well and that you missed his warmth. Even if Seiichiro tried to protest, he gave in and went back to bed, as wrong as it felt to sleep in. Well, your warmth and proximity made it more than worth it.

His kisses are always so gentle yet intimate. They had an intensity in their own way despite how soft they were as he was able to communicate his love and feelings for you quite effectively. He never did want to accidentally hurt you by being too rough or going too fast, and besides, Seiichiro did prefer slow kisses. He'd much rather take in the entire atmosphere and detail of the moment, from how dimmed the lights were to how your slightly chapped lips felt against his own. And as such, Seiichiro's kisses were also rather slow, wanting to savor everything about it. So, in a way, they were certainly sensual as well, and when you guys pulled back, your lips felt much too sensitive and slightly ticklish, unable to rid of the sensation of Seiichiro's lips on yours. It felt too good, even if it was simple as a peck to the forehead. He always did have such a special touch, one that left you craving for it more. The kisses, most of the time, were shallow im a physical sense, Seiichiro not wanting to deepen it and preferring soft, sweet ones the most. But no matter what, his kisses left your heart feeling such a throbbing and fluttering sensation, having felt it skip a beat or even beating much harder than before. They were something that you couldn't forget.
