There have been hundreds of cases of tourists being murdered in India, only for police to sweep it under the rug by claiming suicide or accidental death. Even after the families have fought for these murders to be investigated, the police have systematically obstructed justice, failing to secure witnesses and evidence, causing mistrials through incompetence, or simply failing to do their job out of laziness. This injustice must be stopped. The government must be brought to account for this, and made to realise that they can't fool the international community into thinking India is a safe destination, by covering up the murder of foreigners and refusing to address the deeper social issues that are the underlying cause of these brutal murders.
