She felt stupid, having not ridden a bike in quite some time, she wasn’t even sure she could still do it and now–because he’d decided to start spouting this crap–she wasn’t sure she even wanted to.

“Forget it, I’ll just ride the bus.” And she stomped inside, stuffing her hands into her pockets as she went.
