First checkin coming up + deadline to sign up as an initial creator

Hi friends!

Our first checkin will take place between Wed 22 Oct and Sun 26 Oct:

Everyone who signed up will receive an email on the 22nd.

To check in, reply to that email before the 26th, 16:00 UTC.

If you haven't received an email by the evening of the 22nd, please check your spam folder. If it's not there, let us know!

Checking in is mandatory to submit a draft summary later and be paired with another creator, who will make another work inspired by yours. If you'd like to participate as an initial creator, then you need to sign up before that, so that you can check in.

If you miss the checkin, no worries! You can still participate as an response creator or as a solo creator.

Claims are open!

You can find the available draft summaries in list or gallery view.

To claim one, use this form. If you haven't signed up yet, you'll need to do that first.

Once you've submitted your claim request, we'll get back to you by email with the contact information of the creator you matched with. It might take us some time, but never more than two days.

Claims will stay open as long as there are draft summaries available.

Are we expected to post fanart on AO3 for reveals or does posting on tumblr with a link back count?

All works should be posted on ao3, but you can of course crosspost wherever you'd like.

If you do post on tumblr, tag this blog and we'll reblog it!

Draft summaries and schedule update

Draft submissions are open until Saturday 29th November, 16:00 UTC. Your work needs to be 50% done to be submitted. If you missed the check-in but would still like to submit a draft, contact us for a late check-in.

We've updated the schedule to be more flexible and forgiving on everyone (mods included). However, this mean that claims open a week later than originally planned.

Draft summary submissions until Sat 29 Nov,

Browsing starts Sun 30 Nov,

Claims open Sat 6 Dec,

Check-in 2 from Sun 28 Dec to Sun 11 Jan,

Check-in 3 from Sun 01 Feb to Sun 15 Feb,

Posting dates and reveal date are not impacted.

There is no discord for this event.

NSFW content is allowed. You must be 18 or older to create explicit sexual content for this challenge. Draft/claim information will contain the max rating for each work.
