A dear friend brought me this specimen that had clearly been run over by a car. Skinning this animal was a huge challenge. Her skull must have been in at least 30 pieces. BUT! I salvaged her, made some jewelry from her gorgeous paws, managed to restore her beautiful head and even was able to preserve her heart. I love Taxidermy, and I love being able to salvage these animals remains and make new things from them. Thank you, gorgeous black squirrel.
