Okay, I have had some time to think on this and I think this is what I will do going forward.
I will just state right off the bat
I DO NOT support Zeal or the Pressure devs knowing what they have done
What Zeal did was horrible and I am wishing Ren the best. Pressure is more than likely doomed because of this considering how many people have left and are pulling their involvement from the game, and yes, I won't try to pretend that I'm not hurt over one of my favourite games ever being thrown into this mess, but Ren is more important and they should come first.
I think we are still allowed to be sad about how this has affected the game as I know I and several others adore this game and its lore, and I believe we should be able to still enjoy it (without supporting Zeal or the dev team ofc).
As a result, I will be resuming my queue. I will say right now that all of my Pressure reblogs after this will be from BEFORE this situation was revealed to the public. Also, as previously stated, me reblogging fanwork is not me supporting Zeal or the team, it is simply me enjoying the characters I have grown so attached to.
I am NOT playing the games or spending any money on UGCs, merch or gamepasses. The only things I will interact with for Pressure will be FAN MADE content which doesnt directly support Zeal or the Pressure devs.
Even then, I don't think I will be adding any more Pressure content to my queue. Once its all gone I will be instead filling my queue with my other hyperfixations so I can further distance myself from the game.
What I can say, however, is that I am planning on reclaiming Sebastian to insert into my own OC universe. I currently have a reference in the works, but I plan to do this as a means to seperate him from Pressure as a whole. I still like his character even now, I dont know if I could ever stop enjoying him as a character, but knowing what Zeal did and knowing how terrible Zerum is also makes me want to disassociate him from Pressure even more.
Here's a teaser actually for any of y'all curious as to what I am cooking up (I am still trying to figure out ways to differentiate him from Pressure Seb and also ensure he makes sense in my own OC universe).
