well i think i am probably done watching saber content for the foreseeable future, so now seems like the ideal time to propose my rewrite concept ✌️

to me saber seems weirdly unconcerned with its own idea of this omniscient god book that has apparently dictated the entire breadth of humanity's knowledge and stories since the species began. like it brings that up and then just kinda brushes it aside to say "well it all matters anyway bc of how we feel about it :)" which. i mean sure, but. there's still some pretty eerie cosmic horror-esque implications to all of this, aren't there??

what i would do is either downplay master logos severely - he's just a lifeless puppet of storious - or combine the two of them into one character who is the midseason villain, but is then able to be reasoned with when touma & co hear about what he went through 2000 yrs ago discovering his creations weren't fully his own, and they're genuinely shocked and alarmed by this revelation and promise to try to help free humankind from the shackles of The Book.

thus turning the last boss into the avatar of the book. or one of them at least. its consciousness split into two beings some time ago - one being luna, who became curious about the true potential of humans, spent time with them, has come to believe that humans should be released from their limiters and left to be creative on their own terms. the other is still set in their ways, not in a malevolent but more of a patronizing & paternalistic fashion. they worry about what might become of their "children" the humans if they aren't outright handed important knowledge at the right time, if they might learn the wrong lessons from stories if allowed to write things that exceed the boundaries of the book.

and so you get an interesting take on a final battle, facing off against an opponent that doesn't actually want to hurt the riders and is constantly on the defensive, perhaps until finally being hit a la the classic agito god punch and forced to confront that its "kids" are more capable than it had ever imagined. either that or it finally snaps out of anger from being rebelled against and reveals something a lot more horrific underneath the humanoid mask it wears. i think either approach could make for a pretty memorable ending.
