the back half of Revice is definitely a bit messier in some respects, but god, the main family’s struggle is just so well-realized throughout. and when the core relationships are so strong it’s easy to look past the dumb plot holes and less interesting threads! i am excited to see how it wraps up

Here’s some more Kamen Rider stuff!! But this time it’s Kamen Rider Revice! Specifically the demons.

One is where I worked with the concept of bugs, robots, and gambling, why? Because I see it as something interesting- totally not based off of a YouTuber. Anyway, decided that the sketchy one is his first form when he first formed, insanity is formed due to virus getting killed and while reforming, some scientists decided to pull him out before he was ready and so insanity was formed. The proper reference sheet of Virus is his current look in the role-play that me and my friend are doing.

The cat blanket demon. This one’s body shape is obvious Lovekov’s- I just love that shape so much!! My friend and I haven’t gotten to that part of the story yet where we flush out this one’s character but we’re getting there!

This is prob a very unpopular opinion, but I legitimately think Giff is preferable to Bocca as a villain, especially if Bocca ends up being the final villain. Don’t get me wrong, Giff fucking sucks, but I legitimately think Bocca is even worse in some ways.

Don’t get me wrong, Giff is a terrible villain, but in my opinion, Bocca’s arguably even worse in some ways.

Like, Giff had build up, before his resurrection the show was about his followers and their attempt to revive him, plus his weird vagina pillar gives him some physical presence. The whole plot is about stopping his resurrection/killing him. Bocca meanwhile shows up out of nowhere in the last third and hijacks the entire plot with no buildup whatsoever.

Giff also has a very personal connection to the Igarashi siblings since their demons are direct descendants of him, and Vail was created directly from him. Bocca has no meaningful connection to any of our heroic Riders at all meaning there’s less of a personal conflict with him.

Lastly, Giff, while not very active, is responsible for a lot of what happens in Revice in some form or another, the Demons, the Stamps, and Fenix and the Deadmans all have ties to Giff. Bocca meanwhile’s biggest contribution to the plot is making Stomach Inc. more active to fulfill his Dark Treat order and actually making Lango get off his ass.
